What Was Given is a Main Quest in Diablo 4. What Was Given can be found at Zerae's Shore in Skovos. How to unlock What Was Given in Diablo 4
- To unlock What Was Given, you have to complete the main quest, Along the Crimson Trail, by placing the Sightless Eye on its cradle in Zerae's Shore.
Diablo IV What Was Given Walkthrough
After completing Along the Crimson Trail, interact with the Sightless Eye placed on its cradle to be teleported to Lilith's chamber in The Mind's Eye. Talk to Lilith, then listen to her until she asks you how you intend on killing Mephisto. Tell her, "Ages ago, you gave your children a blade, forged by your own hand..." and she will ask you to follow her to the south. Jump across the gaps and keep following Lilith's trail.
Once you reach the Fragments of Memory with Lilith, interact with it to progress with the quest. Then, keep following the path and go to the path above once the path forks to find a barn. Open the door, then interact with the Fragment of Memory inside the barn. Then, talk to Lilith, and she will ask you how you felt feeding on her blood. You will be given the following dialogue choices:
- "It felt like power. Power to use how I wished."
- "It felt like poison. And I hated my poisoner."
- "It felt like my fate was being rewritten. And I could do nothing to stop it."
Choose any of the options, then continue your dialogue with Lilith. Exit the barn, then follow the path to the south. Examine the fragments along the way to find memories of Lilith and tidbits of lore, such as The Blade, Broken, and A God's Shed.
Keep interacting with the Fragments of Memory as you go through the path until Lilith is no longer following you. Talk to her, and ask her what the blade is capable of to continue the quest. Interact with the Fragments of Memory nearby, then touch the Blade to find out what Mephisto will be banished by it. Then, talk to Lilith again and ask her, "Where will we find the blade?" and she will disappear.
Keep navigating the path and jumping across the gaps. Destroy the Hatefilled Cysts blocking your way until you reach Lilith at the end of the path. Talk to her and select the dialogue option, "It's Mephisto, isn't it? He's trying to find you." to finish the quest. You will be rewarded 141,120 XP and 4,260 Gold for completing the quest, and the next main quest, Mother's Guidance, will start.
