Memory Locket is an Upgrade Material in Hollow Knight Silksong. The Memory Locket is a consumable upgrade material used to unlock more Tool slots for the various Crests in Hollow Knight Silksong. There are a total of 20 Locations for the Memory Locket. Upgrade Materials for Hollow Knight Silksong is a type of item used to enhance and upgrade Hornet's Stats and Equipment. 

 

Memories only weigh us down, but some pilgrims still cling to them with unseemly devotion. This memory isn't yours, but perhaps you could find some use for it?

How to Get Memory Locket Upgrade Item in Hollow Knight Silksong

• Location: Bone Bottom (1) [Silksong Map]
• Complete the "Volatile Flintbeetles" wish, and turn in the quest at the Wishwall to collect your Memory Locket reward. 

 

• Location: The Marrow (1): [Silksong Map]
• From the Bellway in The Marrow, head east and walk past the Bench on that path, then climb up, and then get to the east side platform. Then walk a bit and climb up on the narrow platform. As you approach the Memory Locket to loot it, you will need to finish the Arena Battle there first.

 

• Location: Wormways (1) [Silksong Map]
• Entering the Simple Door path in Wormways, head west, and then go down the path leading to the basement, and then kill the Gromling on the left side. Then jump to the narrow path on the west, and then go down. At the bottom, you will see the Memory Locket in a corner. 

 

• Location: Deep Docks (1) [Silksong Map]
• From the Bench on Deep Docks, where you will also find Bollow, head east and then go down the vertical pathway. Then you will immediately notice a ledge with a breakable wall on the eastern part. Break the wall, then continue all the way down the secret passage, and you will find the Memory Locket beneath held by a bug's corpse. 
• To climb back up from the secret passage, you need to unlock basic vertical paths traversing Ancestral Arts, such as Cling Grip and Faydown Cloak.

 

• Location: Far Fields (1) [Silksong Map 1]
• Can be purchased from Mort for 150 Rosaries. Mort can be found inside Pilgrim's Rest. 

 

• Location: Far Fields (2) [Silksong Map 2]
• After defeating Skarrsinger Karmelita on Act 3 in the Far Fields, jump on the hidden passage on the east, and then you will loot it inside the secret room. You need to have the Silk Soar Ancestral Arts unlocked to reach the platforms from the vertical pathway to it.. 

 

• Location: Hunter's March (1) [Silksong Map]
• This can be found on a dead pilgrim's body trapped inside a cage. The platform is at the end of this pathway, where you'll need to use red buds to pogo and avoid the red spikes. Hit the cage to destroy it, releasing the body and the item. 

 

• Location: Greymoor (1) [Silksong Map 1]
• You will find it on the top left ledge from where Creige is standing. Players must acquire the Faydown Cloak Ancestral Arts to reach this spot. 

 

• Location: Greymoor (2) [Silksong Map 2]
• From the area where you see the Greymoor Bellway, look for a destructible wall on the left, and jump down to the area below. Destroy another wall and scale the ledges going to the left. Look for a path going to the top right. You can find this item on a single ledge on a backpack. 

 

• Location: Bellhart (1) [Silksong Map 1]
• It can be purchased from Frey for 330 Rosaries. Frey will only open her shop upon completing the main quest "The Threadspun Town". 

 

• Location: Bellhart (2) [Silksong Map 2]
• It requires the Silk Soar Ancestral Arts to reach this spot, which is at the very top of Bellhome.

 

• Location: Blasted Steps (1) [Silksong Map]
• From where you find Shakra in Blasted Steps, head west, jump on the eastern platform, and continue walking east. You will see it shining on an elevated platform from the pathway of sand.

 

• Location: Underworks (1) [Silksong Map]
• From the Bench in Underworks where the Confession Booth is, walk west and jump into the secret passage, then you will drop down a hole and you will find it beneath.
• You will need basic vertical traversal Ancestral Arts such as Cling Grip to get out of this secret passage.

 

• Location: Bilewater (1) [Silksong Map 1]
• This locket is found at the far end of a secret room that requires you to cross a difficult path infested by Muckmaggots.
• It is recommended for you to unlock the Wreath of Purity first before traversing this location.
• You will need intermediate traversing Ancestral Arts when exploring this region. It is recommended to unlock Swift Step, Clawline, Cling Grip and Drifter's Cloak.

 

• Location: Bilewater (2) [Silksong Map 2]
• Look for a cocoon that's hanging from the ceiling. Destroy it so you can collect the locket.
• It is recommended for you to unlock the Wreath of Purity first before traversing this location.
• You will need intermediate traversing Ancestral Arts when exploring this region. It is recommended to unlock Swift Step, Clawline, Cling Grip and Drifter's Cloak.

 

• Location: Whispering Vaults (1) [Silksong Map]
• From the location of the Giant Drapemite, go east and you will find a box that you need to hit multiple times to open the secret passage. Continue walking east, and then climb up on the narrow vertical path. Head west on the narrow passage, then jump up and you will see some Rosaries and the Memory Locket on the ledge.
• You will need advanced traversing Ancestral Arts when exploring this path. It is recommended to unlock and use Faydown Cloak, Cling Grip, and Swift Step.

 

• Location: Choral Chambers (1) [Silksong Map]
• From the location of the Ventrica Station in Grand Bellway, head east and open the locked trapdoor at the top by hitting the lever, and then climb up. On the west side of the platform you will see a breakable wall that you need to hit and behind it is a Memory Locket.

 

• Location: Memorium (1) [Silksong Map]
• Exiting from the Ventrica Station in Memorium, jump downward on the vertical path, and then destroy the breakable floor. Continue heading downward, and you will see a Bench on the east. Continue on that tunnel and break around 3 breakable walls, and you will find a vertical path. Climb up on the vertical path, then jump on the top-most platform on the left, then continue traversing west, and you will find the Memory Locket at the end of the platform.

 

• Location: The Slab (1) [Silksong Map]

• You need to enter the Shortcut Cave that is located near the Locked Door that is unlocked by the Key of Indolent.
• After unlocking the door, walk past the Old Penitent and then you will find the entrance on the Shortcut Cave, which leads on the end where you exit and find Hornet on another floor of The Slab, then walk a bit on the east and you will find the Memory Locket behind a breakable wall when you climb on a ledge on the upper east corner.

 

• Location: Sands of Karak (1) [Silksong Map]
• Arriving at the Sands of Karak region from Blasted Steps, go west and traverse all the way to the west, and on the upper platform at the end of the path, you will find a bug's corpse holding the Memory Locket.
• You need to hit the luminous spheres at the ceiling for the old branches to come out, which Hornet will use as a path all the way to the end of the path.

 

Where to Use Memory Locket Item in Hollow Knight Silksong

• Memory Locket can be used to unlock new slots on Crests in the Crest menu, which is accessed at a Bench. Each Memory Locket unlocks one slot on a specific Crest, and the choice is permanent, as Memory Lockets cannot be refunded once used.

 

Memory Locket Notes & Tips in Hollow Knight Silksong

• The Memory Lockets unlock slots on Crests in the Crest Menu, which helps Hornet use its Tools and create a suitable combo of passive and active Tools for its journey in Pharloom.
