Silk Soar (High Jump) is an Ancestral Art in Hollow Knight Silksong. Silk Soar can be activated by Hornet to fling her needle upwards, then jump to reach great heights. This skill can be activated by pressing Button Down + L2 together, then Hornet will assume position and charge the ability before she leaps upwards. This item can be obtained only in Act 3 and found in a secret area inside Weavenest Absolom.
How to Get Silk Soar in Hollow Knight Silksong
- Location: The Abyss, Weavenest Absolom [Silksong Map]
- This area is only accessible in Act 3. Go inside the Needolin Door to reach Weavenest Absolom. Explore the path to the right, and drop down into the wide gap (you can use Drifter's Cloak to navigate slowly to the left. Enter the tunnel, drop down, and continue to the tunnel on the right side. Jump down into the gap and interact with the ancient effigy to get this skill.

- Fling the needle upwards and launch to tremendous heights.
- Silk will be expended. Strike enemies to replenish Silk.
- To use this ability, look down and hold the button mapped to "Harpoon", by default Left Trigger on controller and S on keyboard.
- Silk Soar skill is best used to explore vertical areas, allowing Hornet to leap upwards.
