Mausoleum Knight | Elden Ring Wiki

From Elden Ring Wiki

Mausoleum Knight is a Humanoid Enemy in Elden Ring. These headless knights are capable of vanishing and teleporting short distances to attack their foes. They are easily recognized due to being headless and the unique Eclipse Crest Greatshield they have in their left hand. They can also be found riding headless mounts.

The spirit of a Mausoleum Knight can be summoned for aid in battle by using the Lhutel the Headless Spirit Ashes.

See Mausoleum Knight Lore

A self-inflicted curse ties the spirits of these loyal knights to the land, having willingly beheaded themselves so that they may serve their masters in death.

Mausoleum Knight Notes & Tips

  • The Mausoleum Knight Set does not include a helmet as the knights are headless.
  • The horses that are being ridden are also headless.
  • The missing head of the Mausoleum Knights is not just a model change- they completely lack a hitbox there, making them immune to headshots from projectile weapons. The projectile will fly right through the area where their head should be.
  • Their weapons are permanently enchanted with Death Blight and can inflict Death Blight buildup.
  • They seem to be immune to rot, along with their Soldier counterparts. (Upon further testing, also immune to bleed, possibly among other status effects).
  • All Mausoleum Knights are capable of teleportation, which can be highly disorienting for inexperienced players. If a Mausoleum Knight is particularly passive and is choosing to constantly teleport instead of actually attacking, it may be prudent to break your lock-on to get your bearings and re-orient yourself to your surroundings.
