Greyoll's Dragonbarrow is a Location in Elden Ring. The Dragonbarrow region is the stretch of plateaus and hills located directly north of Caelid. Players can get to Dragonbarrow by heading up the hills east of Caelem Ruins and jumping over the chasm with Torrent. Alternatively, players can take the sending gate northeast of the Third Church of Marika in Limgrave which leads to the Bestial Sanctum in the northeastern tip of this sub-region.
The dragons that escaped the scarlet rot made nest of the plateau to Caelid's north. Thus it was named "Dragonbarrow," and none dare to enter.

Anonymoussleeping dragon here. welcome 75k runes with innate bleed weapon (reduvia, morning star, flail) at the start of the game : take the portal in limgrave to go to bestial sanctum then travel past the bridge. take the jump behind tree avatar and here you are.
also, dectus key near sleeping dragon (fort faroth).
AnonymousBestial constitution is missing from this page. It drops from a scarab just south west of the dragon's bridge

Anonymousdull and boring location. Don't want to be here or play here. It's my first playthrough, so I just want to check if I didn't miss any caves and never come back.

AnonymousBest place for leveling on level 50 to 100-125 on that level dragons are preety Easy to kill and drops high amount of runes

AnonymousIf a new player dares to adventure in these barren lands, they'll be rewarded with insane gear for that level.
Radagon's soreseal is great a low-mid level, the medallion for altus, spiked caestus and the almighty serpent arrows (cheese from afar), bestial sanctum with all the str+fai arsenal.
And last but not least, the goblin farm.
This place is stacked full of gold for those who are more adventurous
AnonymousThis place is at the same level of difficulty as leyndell. First off, the +2 flamedrake talisman is found here but the +1 is found in the royal capital, in a place where you would normally go after beating Morgott. Also, the scaling in ng+ is the same as leyndell and mountaintops.

AnonymousGo in there right after doing Caelid, and if you manage to do everything, you'll walk out with SO MANY levels

AnonymousI came here at level 30 and got oneshot by a guy with a torch

AnonymousInteresting how you can see farum azula from the isolated divine tower (wich lies just a bit northern from the bestial sanctum) but cannot see it from the bestial sanctum or any other area in Dragonbarrow. Maybe because of the rain?

AnonymousYfw this place has the same scaling modifier as Leyndell Ashen capital. You can certainly do it earlier than that, I have but holy **** does everything hurt.

AnonymousFor the sake of humanity, the person that developed this ledge with the laser golem has to be locked up in a dungeon with a straight-jacket. I died like 4 times just playing Super Mario to reach the ledge, to then get two-shot after 5 seconds of fight by the golem.

AnonymousCinquedea and Dragoncrest Shield Talisman missing in the Equipment and Magic section

AnonymousIf you ever think you have enough levels to face Farum Azula then no you don't!

AnonymousMaking a super late game scaled area being accessible so easily right at the start of the game was a graven mistake on devs' part. Did they really think that players won't find the way to cheese some bosses or enemies for chunky runes there? Not to mention they left the legendary and one of the best pve talismans on a silver platter guarded by trash mobs, so there is no reason to fight an early game boss who drops its "starter pack" version. If I was Miyazaki, I wouldn't make Dragonbarrow accessible at all until you reach Farum Azula and use some sending gate there that will teleport you to the location. Farum Azula itself already feels indescribably empty as there are only three bosses. But how do you make it inaccessible if it's basically a part of Caeild? Remove the super stealthy teleporter in Limgrave, remove the spiritspring that leads you there and make the chasm between west Caelid and Dragonbarrow so large that Torrent can't jump over it. Having the area that is basically at arm's length, but can be accessed only much later in the game after a certain point (similarly to Nokron), would be cool in my opinion.

AnonymousLike walking into blight town from drake valley not knowing what's there .

AnonymousGreat rune farming location for new players. Learn how to fight the dragons. SMASH their faces until they're stance-broken. Riposte. Then fast travel back to the nearest Grace.

AnonymousI got here, kited out a single dragon with poison arrows, then hack and slashed its legs while riding until it went down for a crit hit. Took out 5 dragons that way.

Anonymouseverything here is just built different. Not even the crucible knights from farum azula do that much damage

AnonymousBy the time you're right level for this area theres no reason to even come back here Lol

AnonymousI wonder if it's meant to be implied that dragon barrow was connected to Farum Azula before everything went to ****.

Anonymousi went here to get the 2nd half of the dectus medallion, got one shot by an ordinary bat on the way, then hit the elderdragon's tail for 2 minutes and killed the putrid avatar by kiting it with blackflame spells and gained like 10 levels worth of runes on the way out.

AnonymousI hate the Bell Bearing Hunter at Isolated Merchant's Shack.
Not only he has a ridiculous and pointless amount of Dmg and HP, he also is covered by this godamn red-eyed doggo -.-
From Software really was like "Let's make this boss as awful and unfair as possible."
AnonymousI noticed I had -20% Lightning Resistance but +20 % Fire Res in Draggonbarrow.

AnonymousHonestly I think balance-wise, the intention of this place was to basically be what Caelid was like for a lot of people starting out, scary area you're WAY underleveled for and makes you want to leave but you're incentivized to return throughout a playthrough, but stretched out until the late game, and acting as place you can test yourself in, like what the Dancer acts as in DS3 where you can try her as early as the second boss, despite being intended to be fought as the 11th or 12th boss and as the start of the lategame

AnonymousFramerate unsuitable for online play. Returning to main menu.

AnonymousSellia Crystal Tunnel is Caelid, Sellia Hideaway is Dragonbarrow.

AnonymousShould be noted that the Golem that you can get to by doing a series of jumps is not at all worth killing, unless you are interested in the mildly unique fight. It doesn't drop anything, the fight itself is significantly more difficult than any other with a golem that I've encountered because its legs are not exposed, and it does a massive amount of damage on top of that. It's guarding an item, I think it was a rune arc. Don't bother.

AnonymousI figured out why Dragonbarrow sucks. FromSoft originally intended this area to be populated by unique, powerful enemies. Cool idea, right? Well, it was until they decided to just copy-paste a bunch of regular enemies from southern Caelid and give them an absurd damage buff and a disgusting amount of health. So instead of a scary, iconic region of the map, you just cross a line in the sand and get wrecked by the same enemies you were previously able to defeat with ease.

Anonymous
AnonymousI can't describe the pain I felt trying to restore Radahn's great rune at level 70 directly after clearing Caelid. Trying to navigate this place at that level felt like a cruel joke.

AnonymousThis area is bizarre to me. Accessible from the very start of the game with no entry conditions but scales above Leyndell. Despite having the second half of the Dectus Medallion?? So you’d think the game would say okay Limgrave -> Liurnia -> Caelid but no it’s only half of Caelid for some reason. Luckily it’s tiny and there’s barely anything here

AnonymousI took on Caelid before liurnia because I wanted a challenge. Dragon barrow finally wrecked me and I didn't return until after Leyndel. Tough place

AnonymousHard to say what From wanted from this area, balance-wise. On the one hand, you're presumably meant to come here directly after finishing Caelid (the other Dectus medallion is here) but the enemies here are much stronger than in Caelid, which you would not assume at first glance. I mean, it looks exactly like the rest of Caelid. I think maybe this is a case of "come back when you're stronger," like what happened if you wandered into Caelid from Limgrave, but these enemies are even harder than some in late-game areas like Haligtree and Crumbling Farum Azula. So you're left with this area that's strangely way too difficult until late-game but also tricks you into maybe thinking you're meant to come here right after Caelid.

AnonymousI'm just here to thank the black dudes for the Runes farm , you guys are the Elden lords

AnonymousIf you ever need to farm runes, the Vulgar Milita here are worth around 1k runes, and I was 1 hit-crit killing them pre-level 50 after using the waygate to get there. I was getting something like 1 level worth of runes every 5 minutes when I started. Rogier's Rapier casts Glintblade Phalanx and will break poise with one cast, then finish them off with a crit.

Anonymous
Anonymous2 mistakes to rectify:
- Black blade kindred is listed as a regular enemy despite actually being a boss
- dragons which are all over the place are not listed at all (I don't know their exact name. In fact that's what I am looking for)
AnonymousWhy are so many encounters in Dragonbarrow so disproportionately powerful? Black Blade Kindred, the Godskin Apostle in the divine tower, Greyoll and the dragons that surround her, the runebear in Dragonbarrow cave, even the Putrid Avatar is stronger than every other one in the game, including the one in the Haligtree.

AnonymousI wish that after I become Elden Lord I could use my great strength to split the ****ing earth and let Dragonbarrow fall into the goddamn sea.

AnonymousYou guys missed the Ash of War: Rain of Arrows. You get it by doing some platforming on giant roots over the edge of the cliff north-north-east of fort faroth and south of the minor erdtree.

AnonymousVulgar militia is all over the place around the Bestial Sanctum, so they'll need to be added to this page.

AnonymousWhat's with the lightning on the hill near the Minor Erdtree?

Anonymousweak enemies, can 1 shot everything in this region with my +5 Bloodhound's Fang, best weapon in the game no cap

AnonymousSmall dragons can 1 shot you even with 33 vigor cause balance isn't necessary

If you start from the Fort Faroth grace, you can just walk up behind the dragon and hit it endlessly while no attacks can reach you. I went on the left side against the body near the wing.

AnonymousYou can also use Rotten Breath on the huge dragon, it literally melts his hp.

AnonymousThe dragon is weak to bleed, just use a weapon like Reduvia for an ez kill.

AnonymousI don't know if the host of this page will read this but I have info to donate to this page which is that as a low level character I went over to this area and fought this huge dragon I swear he had thousands of health I was using two greatswords and a amulet that boost consecutive hits and I was only dealing around 400 damage each combo I also found out said dragon is weak to the dragon damage as I used a thing to give my greatswords more damage I was then dealing almost 500 damage per combo of course by combo I mean upper left trigger button it took me roughly and hour and a half to kill it. It drops five dragon hearts the dragon in Question I think is called gyroar or something like that I don't remember the exact name as I was more focused on exploring
