How to get Euporia Vortex in Elden Ring

Elden Ring Euporia Vortex Guide, Notes & Tips

  • This is a Unique Skill
  • FP Cost: 28 (-/-)
  • This Skill is not Chargeable.
  • Upon activation, the user will briefly spin the armament (weapon) while raising it, before holding it forward and twirling it very quickly, generating a small vortex of light with the weapon.
    • The initial spins do not deal any damage.
    • The user can move and turn slowly when performing the vortex, allowing for slight repositioning if needed.
    • If the blades of the weapon make contact with a target, the user will automatically move and turn around as they hit the target to center them in the vortex, even without using lock on.
    • The animation takes approximately 3 seconds from start to finish until the user can perform another action such as rolling.

  • Shard of Alexander and Warrior Jar Shard talismans boost this Skill's damage by 15% and 10% respectively.
    • This damage increase applies to both the physical portion of the skill, and the beam of light.

  • This skill hits a total of 5 times if all hits connect, when uncharged.
    • This skill is affected by Rotten Winged Sword Insignia or other similar effects, and adds to its damage.
    • Each hit consumes stamina separately.

  • If the blades of the weapon are charged with energy, using this skill will also shoot a small beam of light on the center of the vortex.
    • The hits done from the beam of light do not add charges to Rotten Winged Sword Insignia or other similar effects, but any charges the user currently has does affect its damage.
    • This beam can cause knockdown on humanoid targets, but only if the last hit of the beam connects with the target.
    • The beam can also move along with the vortex.

  • When the blades of the weapon are fully charged with energy, using this skill will shoot a wide beam of light on the center of the vortex, and increase the number of hits performed to a total of 10, effectively doubling its duration and stamina consumption.
    • The user can cancel this instance of the skill halfway through with a roll if needed, but they will still lose all their weapon charges and end the skill prematurely.

  • If used without FP:
    • The weapon does not glow.
    • Receives approximately a 75% damage penalty on each hit.
    • Cannot emit the beam of light even if using the weapon skill, regardless of how charged the weapon is..
      • This however will not consume the charges on the weapon until enough FP has been acquired and the skill is used again.
