Euporia is a Twinblade in Elden Ring. It is a brand new Twinblade in the Shadow of the Erdtree DLC. The Euporia scales primarily with StrengthDexterity and Faith and is a good Weapon for Faith players looking for a twinblade. One of its unique features is its ability to powerup the weapon skill when attacking enemies.

Twinblade symbolizing abundance. The secret treasure of the tower.

Though the blades, fashioned from golden shoots, are largely wilted and darkened, their luster can be restored by dealing damage to foes.

However, damage dealt to Those Who Live in Death will have no such effect.

Where to Find Euporia in Elden Ring

The Euporia weapon can be found at the following location:

Below, you can find a guide how to reach the room where you can find this weapon. Reaching this area requires story progression and takes place in the endgame part of the DLC. For a detailed walkthrough of the legacy dungeon, you can visit the Enir-Ilim page. Click "show" to reveal the guide on how to find this weapon.

How to Get the Euporia Weapon in Elden Ring

The area just before the Spiral Rise Site of Grace [See Elden Ring Map] has a lot of loot that you shouldn't miss. From the Site of Grace, backtrack your way down the stairs, then turn left to find a set of steps going down. As you go through the archway, there will be a room on your right containing x1 Inquisitor Ashes. Go to the other archway just before the room, and you will see a staircase that you can drop down to that has an item.

Drop down to the stairs, and you can pick up x2 Fireproof Pickled Liver from the body. Head up the stairs, then look below the broken railings to find a ledge that you can drop down to. Look down on the southeastern section of the ledge, and you will find another area that you can drop down to.

Drop down to it, then follow the ledge going south. You'll come across a broken section going to an item. Jump to get to the other side, and you can pick up x1 Holyproof Pickled Liver. After looting it, drop down from the broken section of the ledge, then pick up the nearby item, which is x2 Smithing Stone [8].

Follow the ledge going south. Be careful as there are pillars are blocking off some parts of ledge, making it tough to navigate. Keep hugging the wall just to be safe. When you go around the corner, you will find another area that you can jump down to. Jump down the area, then traverse the ledge going southwest.

Keep following it, and you will acquire x10 Lordsworn's Bolt from a dead body at the end of it. After looting the body, follow the ledge to the other direction going down, and you'll be at a broken section of the ledge. Drop down it, and you will land near a hostile Shadow Undead. Kill it, then pick up x1 Somber Smithing Stone [5] nearby. Go down the stairs, and you'll find x1 Fireproof Pickled Liver from a dead body.

To progress further, sprint jump down the window south of the dead body containing x1 Fireproof Pickled Liver.

Once you have successfully jumped on the window, head inside the structure. The section you are in will be inside Belurat, Tower Settlement. Head out of the room, and you will end up in a courtyard. Kill the Spider Scorpion and pick up the x1 Scadutree Fragment by the covered statue. There are two other rooms that you can enter from the courtyard. The room on the east has a lift that you can take to return to Enir-Ilim, while the room on the south has a lift going down Belurat, Tower Settlement. Ride down the lift in the southern room.

After taking the lift, head outside by going through the archway on the southeastern side of the room. Follow the path by going down a staircase that leads you to a room containing Inquisitor enemies. After clearing the room, follow the path going southwest. Head down the stairs, and you'll encounter a Horned Warrior patrolling the area. You can either fight it head-on, or you can sneak around as the Horned Warrior is patrolling in a way that you can sneak around it.

Elden Ring Euporia Notes, Tips, & Trivia

  • Weapon Skill: Euporia Vortex
  • This weapon cannot be infused with Ashes of War.
  • Can't be buffed by Magic or Consumables
  • Euporia can be upgraded by using Somber Smithing Stones.
  • Euporia has a charging mechanic based on dealing a number of hits in quick succession. After 7 hits within a 10-second window, it gains a 5% damage buff which empowers its Weapon Skill: Euporia Vortex to fire holy bolts forward, in addition to its base effect. This charging mechanic does not work against undead enemies.
  • Attacks with this contribute to a hidden point system called AccumuVal, which triggers buffs after 25 / 50 accumuVal.
  • Euporia adds 95 flat Holy Damage for the duration of its buff which seems to vary slightly between 15 to 20 seconds, but can go as high as 120 Holy Damage if you hit enough times in a very short duration. This damage also "charges up" Euporia Vortex to deal more damage and shoot out in a beam. At tier 2 the weapon skill lasts longer dealing increased overall damage.
  • Euporia's model is reused from the unobtainable Abundance and Decay Twinblade.
  • It is easier to build up the buff when hitting multiple targets.

NOTE: Patch 1.13

  • Increased Holy damage when the weapon has its luster restored.
  • Decreased the number of attacks required to restore the weapon’s luster.
  • Increased the duration of the luster restoration effect.

Wish the skill had a bit more hyper armor since it’s pretty slow and most bosses can just kind of hit you out of it. Still cool enough to not be much of a dealbreaker outside of the holy damage walls of the base game.

I wish they hadn't removed the Miquella lore from this weapon. It's weird they cut it from the basegame only to readd it in a Miquella-centric DLC and just remove all traces of Miquella from it.
The way the DLC seems to handle Miquella as an entirely separate entity from his basegame incarnation is bizarre.

Euporia will stay charged when you stow the weapon or even when you cycle through to other weapons in the other slots. Like if it is equipped on Right Hand Armament 1 and you switch to Right Hand Armament 2 or 3 and come back to Right Hand Armament 1, and it will stay charged.

In this moment I am euporic. Not because of any phony glintstone enlightenment, but because I am blessed by my own faith.

            • Anonymous

If you happen to have two of these ypu only need to build charge on one of them. After that you can powerstance in both hands and both the weapons get the full buff. With how good the jump attack of powerstanced twinblade is, you can get some crazy damage out of it. Do note that using AoW drains both weapons and gaining buff is a lot slower when the weapons are powerstanced as compared to when you dual weild just one of them.

This weapon reminds me of the ones we had to unlock by beating the game during the 2000s, such as the rocket launchers in the Resident Evil games. Even when they're good, super late-game/post-game (or post-DLC in this case) weapons in these games are usually just better versions of what came before. This is wholly unique and devastatingly powerful to a degree these games have never seen. Could possibly be the single most powerful weapon in these games, and there are hundreds to choose from. Considering how overtuned this DLC is in terms of difficulty, this is a very, very fitting reward indeed after powering through a very tough DLC.

Am I missing something? You have to get within arms reach for this weapon’s skill to land and once you begin the animation you can’t walk forward or even turn - purely stationary and extremely close quarters. Except for cheesing a staggered boss I am vexed by the amount of adoration and praise for this thing. Glad I tracked it down I guess, but criminally anticlimactic.

                  • Anonymous

Pairs really well with the Multi-Hit Talismans, and the Thorny Cracked Tear, due to wanting to hit things to build up your passive, and the damage buffs are universal ones meaning they can actually boost the damage of the weapon skill in PvP (if you didn't know, Holy damage is bugged and doesn't get boosted properly by the majority of damage buffs, like the Shard of Alexander or Godfrey Icon as examples), also it just feels satisfying to get healing from the Godskin Swaddling Cloth when this weapon is meant to represent abundance. This weapon also upgrades Blue Phantoms from just a Gatorade refill to also include a full charge on your passive, as there's a bug where you can still gain charge from hitting Phantoms that are inside their death animation, so if you aren't going to get punished for it you should get into the habit of swinging to get more charge after beating a Phantom, even as the Host when defeating Invaders.

Can someone trade me this? I’ve already finished the game 8-9 times on a different save, and am now running a faith build. I think this would go really well with it, but right now, I’m at a very certain level that I can’t invade anyone to trade and no one has summons down so I can’t progress to it. I will trade basically anything I have except for my Goldmask mask, Mogh robes, and grafted scion shield. Currently I’m level 111, with DLC access and am at Altus but haven’t gone inside Leyndell yet. NG currently, if you want to trade I’m on Xbox X, username Krakenslayer #174 (pls don’t judge), reply on here or message me on Xbox if you’re willing to trade for it. I also don’t care if it’s upgraded or not, I just want to get it before the end of the game so I can do fun faith build. The items I have for trade are: Full Twinned set, Assassin’s Crimson Dagger, 6 starlight shards, general poison or magic consumables, Flame Art Swift Spear (if you can infuse with bleed that thing is a monster) with Black Flame Tornado AoW (someone gave me the AoW, got the spear myself), Finger Seal, Poison Godskin Stitcher +1 with Bloody Slash (if you have raptor of the mists and poison whetblade make it raptor of the mists poison, it rips), +7 Mogh spear (will ONLY trade that if you give me the Euporia, it’s currently what I’m using), 3 mushrooms, Spinning Gravity Thrust AoW (someone gave it to me), a Knight’s Greatsword, Banished Knight gauntlets, and if you have the Euporia but don’t want anything I’m trading, I’ll help you with a multiplayer passcode( same thing if you are willing to trade, just tell me the code so I can summon you) and help you beat pretty much any area I have access to, and I know most areas basically by memory because I’ve gone through them so many times (I have the entire path through Miquella’s Haligtree to Malenia completely memorized, with important items optimized into the path I take). I am available after 4:30 PM CST through 6:45 PM CST. Sorry if this was a wall of text, I’m honestly just kind of desperate because everyone I try to trade with either attacks me immediately, doesn’t know how to trade back, takes their item back after taking mine and then kills me, or doesn’t have it and trades me absolute sh!t. PLEASE HELP.

I'm a big fan of how the effect basically rewards you for being aggressive and actually fighting enemies. The more outnumbered you are, the more things you're attacking, the more calculated risks you take, the more often you'll see the power up. As an invader or a player actually playing the level, it'll feel super cool and fun. And gankers get nothing, like they deserve.

It looks very sick and i found it very fun against malenia, it quickly drains her stance and then after you riposte for 1 time, use full charged aow, and you can put her into a second riposte with one charged r2

In this moment I am Euphoria. Not because of some phony Marika's blessing, but because I am enlightened by gitting gud.

This might be out there, but everything about Euporia feels almost like a "thank you" from the devs. From the placement at the end of a huge detour in the final dungeon of the game as a "secret treasure", to the model being from an unused item that was datamined from the base game, to the entirely unique mechanics and playstyle built into the weapon's design... Euporia is definitely one of the most thoughtfully-crafted items From has ever added to any of their games, and I can't help but feel like it was specifically made as a thanks to us, as players, for our exploration of the world they made.

                                • Commiting genodie on the bloodfiends in the Rivermouth Cave is so utterly sastisfying. Killed the boss, then lured all of them into the tunnel entrance that leads to the boss room and then just kamahameha'd on them.

Thy must've buffed it a whole hell of a lot because last time I've touched ER this thing was pathetic.

Strange that they revisited this weapon but never bothered to rework Radhan's copy and pasted rubber mallets.

You can tell they had this weapon in the chamber for a long time, given that it was originally made for base game and tabled until they could build a wild parkour descent into the bowels of the the final level of the game to find it.

Does the weapon art scale off of level, total AR, or FAI? I hope it's the last of the three because I'm considering this weapon for a 99 FAI half meme build.

I bought the DLC specifically for this weapon. It did not disappoint. As a combat cleric, I went from the Short Spear to the Guardians Swordspear to the Godslayer's Greatsword to the Blasphemous Blade to the Spear of the Impaler and finally to this goddess of a weapon.

in this game, there are not many things as satisfying as pulling a freaking kamehameha on some boss and deleting him from the game!!!

Pretty bad weapon like all twinblade weapons, because it/they does/do almost zero stagger. If enemy decides to do any attack at all they will poise through your every attack. Ash of war is very decent if charged to 2nd level, but does not offset how terrible weapon itself is, there a ton of weapon with better ash of war and they can be spammed on demand without charge up.

Bye, bosses and NPCs. 10k damage or more in one go.

Players will be in trouble too if they don't use high poise and Midra Toothpick.

random tip for consort radahn: you can blast him with the vortex during phase transition (or any time he does light of miquella) and still have enough time to regen a bit of stamina and block the explosion
guarded negation for holy on this thing is pretty strong, i was taking very little damage even on ng+2, and the damage you'll do in return shortens phase 2 significantly

I looked at the weapon when it had it's luster on it and I wondered, "what if the luster made the weapon itself do more damage? I mean every other weapon does more damage when its all glowy and stuff." Sure enough after testing I found out that the luster does make the weapon itself do way more damage! I had it doing more damage than the moonlight great sword!

I'm the one who posted the comment about holy only and this would be my ultimate. Well, now that I have it, I use it all the time, helping countless tarnished towards the seat of Elden Lord, all while playing Lights by Ellie Goulding.

Twice now I've been summoned into a Radagon gate with another summon (and the host) early into the fight, hitting the LORD with Euporia Vortext has * healed him*

Is this a bug, or canon?

                                                                  • Anonymous

                                                                    • Anonymous

                                                                      • Anonymous

I understand that it's probably a balancing decision to make the damage increase not work against undead, and I don't think that's unreasonable. I just think it feels kinda lame that the entirety of what makes the weapon unique doesn't work against the class of enemy that's most vulnerable to its primary damage type. It makes the weapon feel like a let-down against them.

                                                                        • Anonymous

However it won't last for the entire duration of the beam so watch out for that. Enemies with dodging AI will dodge the beam if they are not in an animation. Against Malenia you can use the full beam and stagger her for the whole duration if you manage to hit her after she miss an attack.

                                                                            • Anonymous

Same system that seems to power up the gate of divinity, which is presumably opened by countless sacrifices. Just my opinion tho, epic weapon on god

                                                                                  • Anonymous

                                                                                    • Anonymous

Backstep light is a swift thrust that works effortlessly with combos and attack chains, spacing hitboxes with it is some seriously satisfying stuff.

Legit the only weapon I ever use the back step attack as a part of the moveset after every souls game. The feeling of mastery from extending your combo chain through evading hitboxes perfectly and punishing with a quick thrust is unparalleled.

Truly a weapon of abundance. Its got it all.
