  • Equip the weapon that you have bound Storm Stomp to and press L2/LB to activate the ability.
  • The skill creates a large AOE via a stomp animation that lasts about 1 second.
  • Doesn't deal much damage, but has a lot of hitstun when it lands. This enables it to have great combo potential.
  • Multiple distinct items helps buff this skill. First is the Enraged Divine Beast, a talisman that Raises potency of storms by 10%. Which can be selected as one of the possible rewards when trading Remembrance of the Dancing Lion with Enia at the Roundtable Hold.
  • The Second item that can buff this is the Divine Beast Head, a helm that has a special effect of 7% damage increase to all spells, skills and items with the word "storm" in their names and Increases strength and dexterity by 4 points each. Beyond the flat buff on Storm related things, its attribute boost will also empower this skill as the scaling effect will come to play. The Divine Beast Dancing Lion of the Belurat, Tower Settlement drops this Helm upon defeat.

See Shadow of the Erdtree Map [Video Location]. Divine Beast Head is associated with the Divine Beast Set. Choose to get the Divine Beast Warrior Armor, it doesn't have a storm buff but it should be suited for your Storm Blade Build.

  • The Fextralife Storm Blade Build is a very suited way of achieving the maximum amount of efficiency from Storm Blade. The way this Build works is that you'll buff with Golden Vow and Electrify Armament if needed while on the landscape, attacking enemies at range with Storm Stomp, and dealing extra damage when they are in melee range due to the hit box of the weapon itself and the added Lightning Damage from Electrify Armament.
  • Compared to Storm Blade, this skill is more of a Set up as it main contribution is Stuns rather than damage.
