Piercing Throw is a Skill in Elden Ring. It was added with the Shadow of the Erdtree DLC. Piercing Throw makes the blades thrown travel further than normal and pierce through enemies. Piercing Throw has Keen Affinity and is only usable with Throwing Blades

How to get Piercing Throw in Elden Ring

• Ash of War: Found south of the Messmer soldier encampment, east of Giant Crayfish, there is a small group of Demi-Humans on a crumbled column. Beetween them there is a Teardrop Scarab which drops the item.

Elden Ring Piercing Throw Guide, Notes & Tips

• This is an Ash of War Skill, associated with the Ash of War: Piercing Throw
• FP Cost: 8
• Deals 3 Stance damage per throw
• This Skill is not Chargeable
• Buffed by the Shard of Alexander and Smithing Talisman.
• Pierces through enemies, hitting multiple of them at a time
  • Piercing effect does not diminish between each enemy hit, meaning each enemy hit will receive the same amount of damage under the same conditions.
  • Does not bypass blocking/guard, but the projectile still passes through.
• When used without locking onto an enemy, the thrown dagger has no hitbox when used at point blank range, missing small targets entirely.
  • It is unknown if this is intended or not.
• Has roughly double the max range, compared to the normal attacks of the weapon.
• The thrown projectile has no damage falloff, which allows it to deal its max amount of damage as long as the target is within the range of the projectile.
• If used without FP:
  • Deals reduced damage
  • Does not pierce through enemies
