Elden Ring Moonlight Greatsword Guide

• This is a Unique Skill
• FP Cost: 32
• Lasts 60 seconds
• Adds 65 Magic Damage and 15 Frostbite buildup to the weapon
• This Skill is a Weapon Buff, also allowing for heavy attacks to shoot magic wave projectiles. This means it is affected by a wide variety of buffs and talismans:
  • The projectiles are Chargeable andfor being part of the Skill, areaffected by the Godfrey Icon.
  • The projectiles are affected by the Shard of Alexander or the Warrior Jar Shard.
  • The Axe Talisman and Spiked Cracked Tear affect only the weapon hitbox of attacks, but not the projectiles.
  • The Magic Scorpion Charm and Terra Magica affect both the swings and the projectiles since they deal Magic Damage.
  • The Spellblade Set affects the projectiles as well, since they are part of a magic damage dealing weapon skill.
  • Since it is a Weapon Buff, it is stackable with all other types of buffs.
  • The projectiles can be parried using Golden Retaliation.
  • The projectiles cannot be redirected using Eternal Darkness.
• The Skill's weapon hitbox during heavy attacks can be Parried.
• The projectiles deal 15 Stance damage, or 24 when charged.
  
  • They deal 120% status effect buildup, or 150% when charged. This means it deals 84 Frostbite buildup or 105 when charged.
  • Charged projectiles deal roughly 26% more Magic Damage.
• If the weapon hits while using the Skill, it deals full status buildup, stance damage and roughly 50% damage, or 65% when charged.
• NOTE: Only the Skill activation consumes FP. Shooting magic wave projectiles only consumes stamina.

NOTE: Patch 1.07:

• Stamina consumption for strong and charged attacks has been reduced.
• Damage detection to the weapon part has been added.

NOTE: Patch 1.12:

• Increased the poise damage of heavy and charged attacks ( +40% uncharged, +60% charged)
• Decreased the damage (140/180 > 115/145) and the poise damage of the generated magic wave. (22/35 > 15/24)
