Icerind Hatchet is an Axe in Elden Ring. The Icerind Hatchet scales primarily with Dexterity, with reduced scaling in Strength, and is a good Weapon for inflicting Frost against enemies both in single target and AoE scenarios.

Where to Find Icerind Hatchet in Elden Ring

The Icerind Hatchet weapon can be found at the following location:

  • Can be found at Temple Quarter, southeast of the Site of Grace, in a chest located inside the ruined bell tower, adjacent to a ring of flowers.

  • Weapon Skill: Hoarfrost Stomp
  • This weapon cannot be infused with Ashes of War
  • Cannot be enchanted with Magic nor buffed by Consumables
  • Icerind Hatchet can be upgraded by using Somber Smithing Stones
  • Deals +20% damage against dragon icon 40px Dragon type enemies
  • Deals +10% damage against ancient dragon icon 40px Ancient Dragon type enemies
  • Shares the same moveset as the Hand Axe.
    • This moveset is considerably faster than the normal axe moveset.
  • Sell Value: er runes 13 100.
  • NOTE: As of Patch 1.08, the speed and distance of some attacks have been increased and the recovery time has been reduced. Also the stagger damage of Axes’ guard counters has been increased. PVP's poise damage has also been reduced with this patch.
  • NOTE: As of Patch 1.09, the scaling values of this weapon were changed. Please refer to the Upgrades Table of this weapon below.
  • Physical damage updated as of Patch 1.08.
