- See Buffs and Debuffs for more information on stacking buffs.
- This version of the Golden Vow is part of the similarly named spell, consumable and this skill that performs the same functions of providing a buff when casted. The main point of differences between these three are varying degrees of buffs and damage negation rates. Some are more powerful than others.
- Beyond the numerical advantage, the biggest difference between these three versions of Golden Vow is that requirements of cost, attributes, FP cost and duration.
- This skill is primarily used by builds that want to avoid the Faith requirement of the spell version of Golden Vow. Although this version is far weaker than the one requiring 25 Faith, it is far more accessible.
- The Tool version, if compared, does look like the better version of the Golden Vow compared to this skill. However, one of the items needed to craft them (the Blessed Bone Shard) has less than 5% drop rates from Black Knights and Messmer Soldiers. The other item needed to craft them (the Shadow Sunflower) can be farmed more easily.
- Due to the Cancellation effect, players should note which version of the Golden Vow is being used. If someone already used the Spell and tool version, it should be avoided to use this specific version as this version is the weaker of the 2 and using it will cancel the other version creating overall a much more weaker party.
- Below shows recommended builds by Fextralife in utilizing and working with the Golden Vow, skill version. The Templar and Paladin Builds by Fextralife use this Skill for example.
