Colossal Swords | Elden Ring Wiki

Colossal Swords are a type of Weapon in Elden Ring (not to be confused with Colossal Weapons). Colossal Swords replace Ultra Greatswords from the Dark Souls series. Colossal Swords have lengths often exceeding the height of the Tarnished themselves. While they are extremely heavy and swing much slower than other swords, they make up for it with a long reach and massive damage output. Colossal Swords typically require very high Strength to wield properly- if the player falls a few points short of the requirements, wielding them two-handed will make up the difference.

Colossal Swords are compatible with a range of different Ashes of War, allowing you to mix and match for whatever your needs may be.

Note: Patch 1.08 The speed of crouching and rolling attacks has been slightly increased.

Note: Patch 1.09 Attribute scaling and the speed of guard counters for colossal swords has increased.

Note: Patch 1.14 Increased the attack speed of the uncharged version of the first heavy attack.

Shadow of the Erdtree added 5 Colossal Swords: Ancient Meteoric Ore Greatsword, Fire Knight's Greatsword, Greatsword of Radahn (Light), Greatsword of Radahn (Lord), and Moonrithyll's Knight Sword.
