Church of Elleh is a Location in Elden Ring. The Church of Elleh is found in Western Limgrave. Players will find it by heading north from the first Site of Grace available. This is an important checkpoint for the player as it features a merchant and weapon upgrade table.

Walkthrough for Church of Elleh in Elden Ring

If you go straight from where the White Mask Varre was, from the starting point of Limgrave, you can find the Church of Elleh and discover another Site of Grace, the Merchant Kale, as well as a Smithing Table to upgrade your Weapons. Interacting with another Site of Grace will allow you now to fast travel to any sites you've discovered. But keep in mind that there are some dungeons and other areas where fast travel cannot be done.

At the Church of Elleh, speak to Merchant Kale so that you can check his wares or just talk to him to get more details or lore information. It is recommended to buy the Telescope from him so that you can scout areas from afar. However, if you ask him by choosing "Recommendation" Merchant Kalé will tell you to buy a Crafting Kit which allows you to craft basic items on your own. Next to the the merchant, on his left, you can find a Smithing Table which is used to strengthen your armaments. Approaching it will trigger a brief tutorial on what the Smithing Table is and you can also find x1 Smithing Stone [1] near it.

At some point during your return, Renna will be at the Church of Elleh in Limgrave. Return to the Church after getting the ability to summon your Spectral Steed from Melina. You will find Renna sitting by the ruins of the church. She will give you Lone Wolf Ashes and a Spirit Calling Bell.

While places like the Church of Pilgrimage or the Church of Inhibition are steeped in specific, often tragic, lore regarding Marika’s expansionist faith, Elleh sits quietly in the starting region, largely ignored by the monumental narratives of the Erdtree.
• This naming anomaly invites speculation. Is "Elleh" a remnant of a pre-Erdtree faith that the Golden Order failed to fully erase, or perhaps a localized veneration of a figure deemed unimportant enough to warrant eradication? Some scholars of the game’s environmental storytelling suggest that the name might be a corruption of an older, lost dialect or a phonetic relic that predates the arrival of the Greater Will. Because Kalé, a member of the Great Caravan, chooses this location for his initial operations, some theorists point to a potential link between the name and the persecuted Great Caravan, though this remains entirely unconfirmed.
