AnonymousThey've ruined it. You're better off using the weapon itself. You're better off using sacred blade. I tried to bubble Gaius, and Gaius just laughed and said I'd have a better chance blowing his *does obscene gesture cranking his hog*

AnonymousOK, sure, they fixed it. But we broke the game. Well done team holy.

Don't be sad because it's over. Be happy because it happened

AnonymousWhyyyyyyyy Miyazaki? This weapon was an absolute trade off. The weapon art, Bubble Shower, was the only value this weapon had. However, using it left you wide open and vulnerable while blowing bubbles. On the downside, using the “Golden Shower” was risky. Theeeeeen, you go and nerf it. So now, rather than simply a risk leaving the user open, it’s fn’ suicide!

AnonymousIf you are testing it, you need to have last rites active and Bubble Bobble Head with full buffs. Stance breaking done. The question now is DPS in a full build.

AnonymousCongrats Miyazaki, you ruined a great weapon. I can understand reducing the power a little but now the weapon is as dumb as it looks. Just another reminder on how faith weapons will never get any love.

AnonymousAll bubble blowing babies will be beaten senseless by every able bodied boss in the Realm of Shadow.

AnonymousBubble Shower does about half damage to Placidusax now. Yesterday with full buffs and 80 holy, I did 9k damage per bubble shower. A quick check this morning on Placidusax, and I am doing about 4.2k damage. Had trouble getting him to poise break. RIP. Spent alot of time getting this character built up for the DLC. Now I'm kinda disappointed. Buffs: holy Shroud Cracking Tear, Stonebarb Cracked Tear, Shard of Alexander, Holy Scorpion, Golden Vow, How of Shabriri, and Lords Talisman

AnonymousIt got nerfed in the last patch. Now it seems that any dex weapon with a fancy AoW outdo it in every possible way and context (FP cost, DPS, animation speed, etc.). Even with Envoy Crown and Shard of Alexander, bubbles are underperforming. Sad day!

AnonymousEverybody gangsta till the kid with the bubble gun comes in.

Anonymous
AnonymousLast Rites (LR) more than doubled damage from this for me on +0 weapon. % damage increase got lower with weapon upgrades, of course. Still, the more skill is divided into independent damaging parts, the bigger LR increase.
Is there any sorcery, incantation, skill, AoW or anything with more independent damage projectiles/parts/whatever than this? Would be fun to test with LR.

AnonymousIf you're having trouble with the group of albinauric outside Mogh's boss room, this thing will clear them out with about two doots

AnonymousThis is the best skill in the game. Despite doing holy damage, it doesn't care about any resistances. It shreds through healthbars, and it does 92 stance damage if all bubbles hit.

AnonymousSo does this skill only scale with faith or not? Everyone seems conflicted and citing different patches of the game.

AnonymousI love how everyone dunks on holy damage and then this random meme item just uses the worst damage type in the game and doesn’t even give a flying **** you can literally kill anything I don’t care if you have 80% holy resist Elden beast I will toot you to hell this thing literally makes rivers look like an oversized bloody toothpick turns the giant-crusher into a funny looking rock moonveil into some dollar store flashlight and fingerprint sheild look like a god damn cutting board

AnonymousI love how everyone dunks on holy damage being garbage lategame and this absolute Chad is just sitting here like this WA can kill everything and more I don’t care if you have 80% holy resist with scorpion shard of Alexander and holy tear it can literally shred so much it makes rivers look like an oversized red toothpick and kamidazer feel like some Smurf sneeziing on your enemies it’s hilarious toot gang unite

AnonymousWow, just....wow. Holy bubbles! This is so silly that I have to get the weapon just to do this to people.

AnonymousAll able-bodied patrons will be DPS-ed senseless by every bubble blowing babies in the Haligtree.

AnonymousWould Winged Sword Insignia work with this skill? Or even Godfrey Icon? Would love to do a build of this, just trying to figure out what talismens to run.

AnonymousThis is ridiculous, in a good way. Looks good, sounds good, is cheap to use, EXTREMELY effective. Also, bubbles.

AnonymousAll bubble blowing babies will be beaten senseless by every able bodied patron in the bar

AnonymousDoes this scale off of faith, or does it scale off of dex and str too? Or is it like HFS and just scale with weapon upgrade level

Anonymousdoes the damage of this scale with weapon AR or does it scale only with faith(and weapon level)?

AnonymousThis is a boss-killer monster with the bubbles. They deal tremendous damage , fast and at a low price. Due to the programming of the AI it will often stop a given action - attack or move after the bubbles start hitting, resulting in confused bosses. If you want to see real fun - make the Mimic use it, step back and enjoy the show.

Since the bubbles are gold colored wouldn't Bubble Golden Shower be a more appropriate name. Wait?... That feels wrong...
