Bolt is a type of ammunition in Elden Ring. Bolts are the standard ammunition for crossbows. Ammunition can be used in ranged weapons such as Bows and Crossbows so players can deal damage to Enemies and Bosses from afar.

Bolt can be bought at the following locations:

Shadow of the Erdtree

• Castle Ensis: x10 can be found as you drop down on the side of the area where you fight the two soldiers, [Video Link]

• Has a 10.00% chance to drop from Giant Beast Skeleton, and Messmer Foot Soldier

Base Game

• Can be purchased from Merchant Kalé for  40 Runes. Kalé is located in: Limgrave, Church of Elleh. [Map Link]

Bolt can be found at the following locations:

• On top of Castle Morne, from Godrick Soldiers fighting Misbegotten.
• Can be looted off Godrick Soldiers on the Bridge of Sacrifice
• Dropped by Godrick Foot Soldiers outside Tower of Return.
• Dropped by Highwaymen at Murkwater Cave.
• Held by a corpse at Stormveil Castle, in the west outside area, before passing the castle walls to enter.

Elden Ring Bolt Notes & Tips

• Easier to come across or purchase than crafting Bone Bolts or farming for Lordsworn's Bolts, these are the preferable default ammunition for crossbows.
• You can hold up to 99 Bolts
• You can store up to 600 Bolts
• Sell Value:  10 Runes
