Whispers of the Grave is a Class Feature in Baldur's Gate 3. Whispers of the Grave is one of the Eldritch Invocations options Warlocks have at Level 9. Features provide unique abilities that are inherent to a Character's Race, Class, Background selected. These may vary greatly, from allowing you to equip certain Weapons or pieces of Armor with Proficiency, to add your Proficiency Bonus to certain Saving Throws.

I'd just like to update people who think this is bad:
1. It frees up the Necklace Spot, if you've been using the Amulet from Withers Tomb
2. If you've been using the Necromancy of Thay:
You can do Shadowhearts Quest after acquiring the "Full" Power of the Book by finding the required Book at Ramaziths Towers, which gives you Dance Macabre (which has been nerfed to uselessness) then offer up the Knowledge of the Necromancy to the Silver Mirror to gain +2 CHR, which lets you acquire 22 CHR on your Warlock, and Speak Dead through this Invocation

Half of the Warlock invocations are utterly pointless and useless. This LEVEL 9 feature can be gained for free in the first hour of the game...

Learning the book of Necromancy also gives you infinite use of Speak With Dead, so this one is basically pointless.

One of the worst things you can pick up during a level up. absolutely pointless, this game provides you with two infite sources of this spell already. In comparison Beast Speech can actually be alright if you don't have a party member with or don't like to use potions for it.

This and Otherworldly Leap at lvl 9 Invocations is a 2 things that I cannot understand.

Or like... keep the amulet you can find stupidly early that has speak with dead on it, but go off I guess.
