All Bosses in Mortal Shell 2

Mandatory Bosses

What is considered mandatory bosses are the ones that the player must face and defeat in order to progress the story. Mortal Shell 2 Wiki has a vast open world that doesn't necessarily force you to go in any one direction after beating the tutorial and the first large zone in the region of Fainweald.

Every player will have to face the same initial region and boss, but from there, you are free to explore and tackle the world. Of course, some regions, locations, and of course, Bosses, will prove to be harder than other. If you are interested in a structured approach to the game, you can follow our Walkthrough for a breakdown of each mandatory section of the game and a suggested path.

Non-Mandatory Bosses

The following are the bosses in Mortal Shell 2 that the player is not required to defeat in order to progress in the game. With that being said, defeating bosses is generally a good idea because they reward a lot of Gloom and often they will also drop a tarstone, not to mention the actual player experience you get from them. It is not uncommon to encounter weaker versions of the various bosses later on, so having learned their attack pattern does have the possibility to come in handy. If you are still just interested in knowing which bosses you can safely skip with stifling your progress, they are listed below.
