The Lost Child Mortal Shell 2 Fight Strategy
The Lost Child is a massive pile of flesh with a gaping maw lined with razor-sharp teeth. It has no legs but still manages to drag itself around the arena with its one good arm. The Lost Child has a few attacks, the first of which are body slams. The boss either jumps up or rears its massive maw into the air before slamming back down.

One of the Lost Child’s most disturbing moves occurs when it turns around and shoots a noxious ranged attack out of its back end. The projectile has a massive reach and can hit you from the opposite side of the arena, so dodge to the side consistently and ensure you’re not too close to the boss.
When you get close, the Lost Child will swipe at you with its good arm. This can be avoided by keeping space between you or dodging to the side if you’re within range. If you playing a parry style, take the opportunity to farm some blocks/parries and build up the Break bar.

The Lost Child can also open its jaws and suck in air like a vacuum. Make sure you’re out of range to avoid getting sucked up. This is a good opportunity to attack from behind, but make sure you start dodging to the side when it starts spitting everything it sucked up back out.
For defeating the Lost Child, you will receive the Lost Clotstone tarstone, which allows you to consume 60 Resolve to spin in place and release your weapon with brutal force.
