Mortal Shell 2 Gloombound Wraith Boss Guide
Gloombound Wraith Mortal Shell 2 Fight Strategy
This boss acts similarly to a regular Wraith. It'll chase you to cut the distance, then swing its giant sword towards you to inflict damage. It isn't too mobile and is rather slow, but when it reaches you, you better parry or dodge its attacks or else, it'll perform a full combo on you.
At the same time, the battlefield will be constantly throwing flying books at you, which also inflict damage. To top it off, midway through the battle, the Gloombound Wraith will call up two red books that will be at both sides of the battlefield, protecting the Wraith from damage. You must break these books to keep damaging it.
As a general tip, try to adjust your timings so you can parry its attacks. Once you dominate its attack pattern, which isn't too long or full of movements, you'll manage to beat the Gloombound Wraith. You'll also be able to inflict a lot of damage to with with your Sidearms, and even more if you apply effects with your Tarstones to it.
