Spectral Steed Attire is a cosmetic item type in Elden Ring that changes the appearance of Torrent, the player's spectral steed. Three attires were added by Patch 1.17 with the Tarnished Pack DLC, and are included by default in Elden Ring Tarnished Edition for Nintendo Switch 2. Each is found in the world rather than purchased, and the change is purely visual — no attire alters Torrent's speed, health or any other stat.
After obtaining any Spectral Steed Attire, an option to change the spectral steed's appearance is added to the Site of Grace menu.

How to Change Torrent's Appearance in Elden Ring
- Obtain at least one Spectral Steed Attire.
- Rest at any Site of Grace.
- Select the spectral steed appearance option that is added to the menu.
- Choose an owned attire, or revert to Torrent's default appearance.
Elden Ring Spectral Steed Attire Notes & Tips
- Requires the Tarnished Pack DLC on PlayStation, Xbox and Steam. Owners of Elden Ring Tarnished Edition already have this content.
- Attires are found in the open world and do not require defeating a boss, though two of the three sit in areas gated behind main-path progress.
- The exact pickup points within each region are being confirmed and will be marked on the Interactive Map.
- Attire changes are cosmetic only and have no effect in PvP or on Torrent's performance.
