Ansbach's Longbow | Elden Ring Wiki

Ansbach's Longbow is a Bow in Elden Ring. It was added with the Shadow of the Erdtree DLC. The Ansbach's Longbow scales primarily with Strength and Dexterity and is wielded by Sir Ansbach. All Bows require Arrows to fire.

Unusually for a longbow, it can be wielded similarly to a light bow—provided that the wielder has the extraordinary dexterity demanded.

Where to Find Ansbach's Longbow in Elden Ring

The Ansbach's Longbow weapon can be found at the following location:

• Kill or assist Sir Ansbach during Needle Knight Leda's questline in Shadow Keep.
• NOTE: If you assist Hornsent against Leda, you will be unable to obtain this item until the next NG cycle. Ignoring these NPC questlines yields the same result.

Elden Ring Ansbach's Longbow Notes & Tips

• Weapon Skill: Fan Shot
  • This skill uses the bow held horizontally. Readies eight arrows at once, firing them in a fan-shaped arc.
• This weapon cannot be infused with Ashes of War
• Can't be buffed by Magic or Consumables
• Ansbach's Longbow can be upgraded by using Somber Smithing Stones.
• As its description implies, it has the Light Bow moveset similar to the Black Bow. This allows for a lot more opportunities to fire off shots.
• Works exceptionally well with Status proccing arrows such as Bloodbone Arrows. After acquiring the cookbook these can be made with Thin Beast Bones and Bloodroses. Bloodroses can be purchased for an unlimited supply from the Imprisoned Merchant at the Mohgwyn Dynasty Mausoleum or from the Twin Maiden Husks at Roundtable Hold should his bell bearing be acquired.
