How to Add Power to Your Base in Subnautica 2 (Oxygen Production Offline)
In Subnautica 2, keeping your base connected to a secure power source ensures your oxygen production never goes offline.
Medical Gel Sac Locations in Subnautica 2
The Medical Gel Sac is found almost everywhere in the starting region of Subnautica 2. You can find this medical material frequently growing inside small caves around the Lifepod. The closest instance of it can be found in a cave just beneath the Lifepod:
As soon as you exit the Lifepod’s door, look below the water, and you should spot a round hole in the ground, just under the Lifepod. Pass through the hole and enter the cave, at the bottom of which you will find a pink plant with a green orb in the middle.
The green orb is a Medical Gel Sac. You can pick it up with your bare hands, as it requires no tools. However, be careful to move away from the plant as soon as you harvest the Medical Gel Sac, as a toxic gas will burst out of the plant, slightly damaging you.
More of these plants are available inside the nearby caves. It’s worth noting that you can also harvest the pink, meaty flowers around the Medical Gel Sac using the Survival Multitool. Those are Acidic Raion Pouch, and you can use them to create Basic Batteries and Mild Acid.
How to Craft Basic and Enhanced First Aid Kits in Subnautica 2
First Aid Kits can be crafted by a Fabricator, and each of them requires a different set of materials:
- The Basic First Aid Kit can be crafted with x1 Fiber and provides +50 HP.
- The Enhanced First Kit can be crafted with x1 Fiber and x1 Medical Gel Sac and provides +100 HP.
First Aid Kits are the best sources of health recovery in Subnautica 2, but you can also gain some health back by consuming certain prepared meals, including Threemoon Temaki and Pavlova, which recover +15 and +10 HP respectively.
You can still find first aid kit items upon exploring abandoned bases in the ocean!
