Voltaic Crown is a Tarstone in Mortal Shell 2. Voltaic Crown can be equipped to the Sidearm and consumes Resolve to infuse your Sidearm with Lightning. Tarstones are items that can be infused into equipment or the shell that grant passive effects or modify an action, changing the movements and actions of the Harbinger or the equipped shell.

The Voltaic Crown can be obtained upon defeating Vrago, Solikar Champion, in the Abandoned Shrine in Prisoner's Domain.

Level 2: Infusion lasts for 4 strikes
Level 3: Infusion lasts for 8 strikes
Level 4: Infusion is permanent

How to Upgrade Voltaic Crown Tarstones in Mortal Shell 2

You can upgrade your Tarstones by giving Franz the Etching Needle, a quest item that expands the upgrade options of the Tarforge in the Marrow Keep. The Etching Needle can be looted from a chest right before fighting Magdalena, the Lady of the Woods Boss fight. When you see Ruk past the bridge, jump down the opening and turn right before the tunnel to find a small section with a bone chest. Loot this chest to get the Etching Needles.

After you acquire the Etching Needles, make sure to equip the Tarstone and slay enemies to increase the experience. Once the XP bar is full, you can go back to Franz in Marrow Keep to upgrade the Voltaic Crown to the next level, which costs Coin per upgrade.
