Ironpiercer's Stone | Mortal Shell 2

Ironpiercer's Stone is a Tarstone in Mortal Shell 2. Ironpiercer's Stone can be equipped to the Sidearm and allows your projectiles to pierce through enemies. Tarstones are items that can be infused into equipment or the shell that grant passive effects or modify an action, changing the movements and actions of the Harbinger or the equipped shell.

Where to Find Ironpiercer's Stone

The Ironpiercer's Stone can be found in a bone chest within the Central Sewers, in Prisoner's Domain.

Upon entering the dungeon, head to the center of the room and the floorboards will break beneath you. Now that you've dropped into a large circular tunnel, continue ahead and drop down lower. Keep moving forward and drop down again to an area with several burning piles. Launch up onto the wooden platforms and continue making your way up, go through the hole in the wall. Head towards the tunnel and grapple across to the bridge. The bone chest can be found at the end of the bridge.

Ironpiercer's Stone Effects in Mortal Shell 2

Level 1: Projectiles pierce through enemies
Level 2: Projectiles pierce up to 3 targets before stopping
Level 3: Projectiles pierce up to 4 targets before stopping
Level 4: Projectiles pierce up to 5 targets before stopping

How to Upgrade Ironpiercer's Stone Tarstones in Mortal Shell 2

You can upgrade your Tarstones by giving Franz the Etching Needle, a quest item that expands the upgrade options of the Tarforge in the Marrow Keep. The Etching Needle can be looted from a chest right before fighting Magdalena, the Lady of the Woods Boss fight. When you see Ruk past the bridge, jump down the opening and turn right before the tunnel to find a small section with a bone chest. Loot this chest to get the Etching Needles.

After you acquire the Etching Needles, make sure to equip the Tarstone and slay enemies to increase the experience. Once the XP bar is full, you can go back to Franz in Marrow Keep to upgrade the Ironpiercer's Stone to the next level, which costs Coin per upgrade.
