Tarblighted Trophy | Mortal Shell 2

Tarblighted Trophy is a Tarstone in Mortal Shell 2. Tarblighted Trophy can be attached to Sidearm weapons to unlock a new attack style where a heavy round is launched at a target, and will explode above it, raining projectiles below for 40 Resolve. Tarstones are items that can be infused into equipment or the shell that grant passive effects or modify an action, changing the movements and actions of the Harbinger or the equipped shell.

Tarblighted Trophy Effects in Mortal Shell 2

Level 1: Consume 40 Resolve to launch a heavy round that detonates above the target, scattering explosive projectiles below.
Level 2: The heavy round detonates 2 times, each explosive projectile deals 8 splash damage.
Level 3: The heavy round detonates 2 times, each explosive projectile deals 12 splash damage.
Level 4: The heavy round detonates 2 times, each explosive projectile deals 14 splash damage.

Obtained as a reward for defeating The Wandering Shepherd in Sunken Village.

How to Upgrade Tarblighted Trophy Tarstones in Mortal Shell 2

You can upgrade your Tarstones by giving Franz the Etching Needle, a quest item that expands the upgrade options of the Tarforge in the Marrow Keep. The Etching Needle can be looted from a chest right before fighting Magdalena, the Lady of the Woods Boss fight. When you see Ruk past the bridge, jump down the opening and turn right before the tunnel to find a small section with a bone chest. Loot this chest to get the Etching Needles.

After you acquire the Etching Needles, make sure to equip the Tarstone and slay enemies to increase the experience. Once the XP bar is full, you can go back to Franz in Marrow Keep to upgrade the Tarblighted Trophy to the next level, which costs Coin per upgrade.
