Additions
[edit | edit source]General
[edit | edit source]- Getting stuck inside blocks causes suffocation.
- When inside a block the player will be shown a grass block texture, and will be unable to x-ray through walls anymore.
- The player’s hand now displays again.
Changes
[edit | edit source]Blocks
[edit | edit source]- Flowing water that touches flowing lava creates cobblestone, which makes it renewable.
- Are no longer destroyed by water.
- Model changed from
. - Lava will destroy any plant (rose, dandelion, sapling, red mushroom, brown mushroom, or wheat) it flows into.
- Lava springs don't spread, making infinite lava no longer possible.
- Lava no longer generates at the bedrock level.
- Flowing water that touches standing lava turns the lava into obsidian.
- Changed model from
. - Water will destroy any plant (rose, dandelion, sapling, red mushroom, brown mushroom, or wheat) it flows into.
- Water flows nicer.
World generation
[edit | edit source]General
- Made massive tweaks to the pending tile tick logic (used for liquids and fire), quite possibly fixing a crash bug.
- Removed the infinite lava sea from under the world (removed when updating, replaces the bottom layer of the world with air).
- Added surface springs of water and lava.
- Caves are even more regional, with lava areas being possible but rare.
- Springs, both water and lava, are more common.
- Increased variety in tunnel thickness, increasing the odds of branches.
- Added natural gravel and dirt underground for more varied caves.
- Prior to this version, all ores were generated with a random amount of veins regardless to the type of ore.
General
[edit | edit source]- The bottom layer of the world can now have blocks placed in it.
Fixes
[edit | edit source]3 bugs fixed
- Fixed a few bugs in liquid spreading code.[more information needed]
- Fixed a bug where logs would not generate inside of the tops of trees.
- Fixed invisible waterfalls.
Gallery
