This page covers a development version that has a major issue under certain conditions.

The dedicated server for this version has a security vulnerability in the Log4j library that could be used to perform a remote code execution exploit. It can be addressed by appending a certain JVM argument to the server startup command line.[1]

[edit | edit source]

Splashes

  • Added the following splashes:

    • "Boats FTW".

Changes

[edit | edit source]

Command format

[edit | edit source]

/tp

  • Relative coordinates are now relative to the executor of the command, not the teleported entity.
    • /execute can be used to get the old behavior.
  • /tp can now teleport the player to a Y-coordinate in the range -4096 to 4096 (increased from -512 to 512).

Trivia

[edit | edit source]
  • 16w21b was previously removed from the launcher for some time, but was added back in September 2018.
  • "Replaced molten cheese with blood?" is a technical reference to 15w14a, which changed lava to "Molten Cheese"
