Ranni's Rise Walkthrough
Ranni's Rise is found to the west of the Three Sisters sub-region. When first entering the area, you may come across Renna's Rise and Seluvis's Rise but these two are blocked by a magical seal, preventing entry. The only tower accessible initially is Ranni's Rise. Head into the tower and up to the first floor to find its Site of Grace. Look for a lift on this floor which will take you to the top of the tower where you will meet Ranni the Witch.
Ranni will ask for your servitude and will set you off on a quest to find the hidden treasure of Nokron. (If she refuses to give you the quest, try returning to the Roundtable Hold to speak to Rogier once more.) She asks that you speak to three other persons in her service: Blaidd, War Counselor Iji, and Preceptor Seluvis. These three NPCs will then appear on the first floor (in spectral form as their actual locations are elsewhere). A fog wall will surround Ranni's Rise, temporarily turning it into a safe zone. Speak to all three of the aforementioned NPCs. Iji will simply acknowledge that you are both now in service of the Lady, while Blaidd will ask you to meet him in Mistwood at the Siofra River Well. Seluvis will ask that you meet him at his tower in the south. Oblige and return upstairs to speak to Ranni, and she will tell you that she will go into a deep slumber. This will remove the fog wall. Lastly, head to Seluvis's Rise to acquire a task from him.
Elden Ring Ranni's Rise Gallery and Notes
- Ranni's Rise is part of the Trio of locations aptly named as the Three Sisters, with connections towards Ranni the Witch. The other locations are Seluvis's Rise, where Preceptor Seluvis, an ally of Ranni, stays and Renna's Rise. Named after one of Ranni's alias they used. The Snow Witch Set is found on Renna's Rise, and it is speculated that it is the name of the Snow Crone Mentor that Ranni had.
- Many of Ranni's loyal retainers, allies, and other characters related to her, like Blaidd, Preceptor Seluvis, and War Counselor Iji, make an appearance in the location, albeit spectrally. Considering this location, functionally the base of operations for Ranni, it only makes sense for her agents to show up here.
- Ranni's Rise is the spot of many of the quest events relating to Ranni and the Age of Stars. Swearing fealty to Ranni happens here, for example. As you progress along Ranni's questline, you will most likely have to swing by Ranni's Rise multiple times to not only get the latest objectives on Ranni's plan but also explore the multitude of stories of her allies and their relationship to her. Some encounters with Blaidd, Preceptor Seluvis, and War Counselor Iji, especially on how they change both externally and internally as characters with the progression of Ranni's plan. As Ranni achieves her objectives with the help of the Tarnished, this will affect these three characters greatly, and Ranni's Rise is where you will be able to find out how much those effects really are. Conversely, it would also show the effects of Ranni's actions on her loyal retainers.
