How to use Grave Gloveworts?

To unlock Spirit Ashes upgrades, you first need to find Roderika and finished her quest by either giving her the Chrysalids' Memento or resting at a site of grace in Liurnia of the Lakes. Then, travel to the Roundtable Hold, and talk to her and to Blacksmith Hewg several times until you exhaust their dialogue options. Roderika will set up shop in front of him where you can upgrade your Spirit Ashes at the cost of runes.
