PLEASE NOTE BEFORE YOU DO THIS QUEST, it causes wyll, karlach and gael to all permanently leave your party, leaving you with only laezel and shadowheart until act 2, i didn't know this and it has honestly ruined my playthrough, please do keep it in mind, and i really suggest doing this quest on your second playthrough

i successfully keep her alive after the raid of the grove, i did that in order :
        - Take the quest of DEFEAT THE GOBLINS
        - Kill everyone in the goblins camp
        - Accepted the mark of the obsolute from the Priestess goblin - be captured - and kill her
        - Kill all the goblin leader except the big one (who try to revive a mind flayer) and the one next to Minthara
        - Save the guy who was being interrogated
        - Return to Minthara, give her a false location of the camp, leave the conversation and attack the leader next to her
        - Kill everyone in the fight except Minthara and use non letal takedown
        - Return to DROR RAGZLIN (the big one) and kill him

And it seems that the quest was a success, I had the opportunity to return to the grove, make a good "rest" and move on to the act 2 with Minthara alive

Is it possible to let the shadow druids take the grove then get the goblins to raid the shadow druids? Is that a thing?

          • Anonymous

Apparently you can't use non lethal takedown and side with grove. She dies either way. Obviously, steam trolls told me that it'll work. Wasted 60 hours on my sav. GG!!!!

Also the quest breaks if you killed zevlor (or probably any other npc that participates in the scene at the gates) beforehand. There is a lot of broken paths like this in the game, i do hope Larian is gonna fix them before release.

Minthara keeps teling me there are more to kill, but the quest log tells me I killed everyone and I'm done. The quest seems to be broken but I don't know at which point it went wrong.

After siding with the goblins breaks the dialog with your group. They told me they were impressed by how many goblins I killed instead saying anything about killing all the tieflings.
