Saros has 45 trophies, including the Platinum. With the addition of the Carcosan Modifiers, the game is very easy to 100%, and players can even turn on an option in the accessibility menu that makes the game even less challenging, making this considerably easier than Returnal. Let's dive in and discuss how to get all the trophies in Saros!

  • Estimated Difficulty: 3/10
  • Approximate Time to 100%: 20+ hours
  • Missable Trophies: 0
  • Minimum Playthroughs: 1 (You will have to play through the biomes multiple times for certain trophies.)

While we won't spoil any of Saros's story outright, some of the Trophy names and descriptions can spoil the biomes and boss names. You've been warned...

Never Let Go (Bronze)

Complete Act 1

To unlock this, you will need to complete the first five biomes.

Into Yellow (Bronze)

Complete Act 2

After completing the first act, you will gain access to two more biomes, and completing them unlocks this.

The Blazing Throne (Bronze)

Complete Act 3

For this trophy, you need to complete the last biome and defeat the final boss.

Let Go (Gold)

Complete All Epilogue requirements and defeat the King

After completing the third act, you need to complete all Banyan Tree segments as well as the new objectives. The first is at the start of the third biome, then you need to check out the red tree in Blighted Marsh, go to the Passage, visit Nitya's Lab in Cathedral, complete the final Banyan Tree segment, and finally defeat the final boss again.

Strange is the Night (Bronze)

Enter the Banyan Tree for the first time

After progressing through the story and returning to the Passage, you will notice a portal in the upper area where Sebastian is located. This is the Banyan Tree, and interacting with it for the first time unlocks it.

Shattered Glass (Silver)

Complete every encounter inside the Banyan Tree

As you progress further into the game, more Banyan Tree segments will appear, with the final one becoming available during the Epilogue. In total, there are three Banyan Tree segments that you need to complete.

Come Back Stronger (Bronze)

Die for the first time

Dying to anything for the first time unlocks this trophy.

Relentless (Bronze)

Land 50 consecutive shots on hostiles with Rifles.

After unlocking the Rifle in the first biome, use it to hit enemies 50 times in a row. Since it has auto-hit functionality, you can easily land shots, but it is best done on high-health enemies like an Alpha hostile or an Overlord.

Approach Vector (Bronze)

Dispatch a shielded hostile with a mid-air Melee attack

Coming across shielded enemies is very common. Hold jump and press R1 when close to them to get this.

Break the Cycle (Bronze)

Absorb 2021 projectiles using the Shield

This should unlock automatically as you absorb projectiles with your Soltari Shield throughout the game.

Second Chance (Bronze)

Use Second Chance for the first time

After unlocking the Second Chance node on the Armor Matrix, die during a run to unlock this trophy.

Enforcer (Bronze)

Damage 7 hostiles within 5 seconds with Handcannons

This can be easily done using a high proficiency Ricochet Handcannon, as its shots pierce enemies and let you target multiple foes at the same time.

Catch and Release (Silver)

Use the Shield to absorb 3 Power bars, then defeat a hostile with a Power Weapon.

This trophy is pretty self-explanatory. Absorb blue projectiles until you have three full power bars, then use a Power Move to defeat an enemy.

Broadside (Bronze)

Defeat 5 hostiles with a single Prominence blast.

Later in the game, you will come across rooms with multiple small flying enemies. Using Prominence blast in the middle of them to easily defeat all of them and pop the trophy.

Atrophy (Bronze)

Damage 5 hostiles simultaneously with Dispiritor projectiles.

Same as the last trophy, use the Dispiritor to target five enemies. As they all take damage over time, this should unlock.

All Shall Bow (Bronze)

Hit 3 hostiles at once with Crossbows

As soon as you unlock the Repeater Crossbow in the third biome, spam its Alt-Fire, as the split bullets can hit multiple enemies and unlock this.

Soltari R&D (Silver)

Unlock and utilitse all Traits and Variants of a Weapon

Every weapon has multiple traits that you can check in the equipment tab. There are quite a few for each weapon type, and for this trophy, you need to focus on a single weapon. Try to find higher proficiency versions of the same weapon type so you can use all the traits, and also check out the corrupted variants as well.

Vicious Circle (Bronze)

Use Chakrams to damage 4 hostiles within 2 seconds.

The first Chakram you get in the sixth biome allows you to hit multiple enemies with the normal attack. With the Alt-Fire, you can deal consecutive damage until they die, allowing you to return the Chakram. With this weapon, hit four enemies using the normal attack, then press L2 to pop this.

Carcosan Conqueror (Bronze)

Encounter and defeat 10 Alpha hostiles

This should unlock automatically by the time you finish the game, as you will encounter quite a few Alpha hostiles, typically at least one or two in a single run. Once 10 of these hostiles are defeated, you will earn the trophy.

Radiance (Bronze)

Damage 3 hostiles simultaneously using the Illumine.

This Power weapon allows you to charge and then continuously damage an enemy. Simply aim at three enemies one after the other with the same fully charged Illumine, and this trophy will unlock. While working towards the Full Arsenal trophy, this should unlock naturally.

Bullet Paradise (Silver)

Dispatch 1995 regular hostiles.

This is another trophy that should unlock automatically as you play through the game and complete it. You simply need to defeat 1,995 enemies using everything in Arjun’s arsenal.

Eclipse's Gift (Silver)

Collect 70 Halcyon

Every biome has a certain amount of Halcyon that you can check in the World Dial menu. These can be dropped by some Alpha hostiles or found inside red containers that force you to choose between two items. Always pick the Halcyon, as you will need it for the trophy and the Armor Matrix upgrades.

Reinforced Carapace (Silver)

Collect 20 Integrity Augments

Make a habit of checking all side paths as well as the Nightmare Strands, as you can find Integrity Augments inside. Keep collecting them across different runs, and this should unlock.

Angle Of Attack (Bronze)

Defeat a hostile using a ricochet Nova Lance slug.

Check if your Nova Lance power weapon has the trait that allows its attacks to ricochet off terrain. If it does, simply hit a wall next to a low-health enemy.

Overdriven (Bronze)

Dispatch 30 hostiles using Overdrive using a single cycle.

Instead of saving Overdrive for powerful enemies or bosses, start a run where you focus on taking out a large number of enemies with it. First, focus on charging it, and once it is ready, lure enemies together and use it to secure multiple kills. Do this throughout the run, and you should unlock it earlier than expected.

Fatal Triptych (Silver)

Die 3 times during a single cycle.

For this, a good method is to visit the Nightmare Strand and intentionally die during the final wave so that your Second Chance replenishes. Do the same in every biome where you encounter a Nightmare Strand, and after dying three times, this should unlock.

Vincible (Bronze)

Complete a Biome without using the Shield.

The third biome is easily the shortest biome, and for this trophy, you need to avoid using the shield. You can still use melee attacks to fight shielded enemies, but do not hold the button for too long. Try to run past most enemies while also charging your Overdrive as you progress. Use Overdrive on the boss and spam a few Power Move attacks, and you should be able to complete the boss fight and move on to the next biome.

War Within (Silver)

Reached maximum Corruption level and survive.

For this, an easy way to get the trophy is to enable the Trial Modifier that makes all damage deal Corruption. With this active, go on a run, take damage, and do not use the Power Move, which lowers Corruption. Then defeat a boss, and once you finish the biome, you will get the trophy and can return to the Passage.

Carcosan Cartographer (Bronze)

Use the Carcosan Modifiers to embark upon and survive 33 expeditions.

Enable any Carcosan Modifiers, either Protection or Trials, and play 33 runs. You need to start a run and complete a biome, after which you can return to the Passage, and that will count as an expedition.

Untouchable (Silver)

Complete a Biome without taking direct, non-Corruption damage or losing Adrenaline.

One of the trophies that sounds the hardest, but it isn’t. The third biome is by far the easiest place to do this, and you will be applying the same strategy as the Vincible trophy. Use the Repeater Crossbow, since you do not even have to look at enemies while using its Alt-Fire and can focus solely on avoiding attacks. You can run past all the rooms except the Solar Cage one. Try to charge your Overdrive for the boss fight, and since Rhabdom has one phase, you should be able to pop this quite easily.

Never Enough (Bronze)

Collect 20 Halcyon in the Yellow Shore.

The last biome in the game has quite a lot of Halcyon, mainly dropped by Alpha hostiles or found in containers or lying on the floor alongside paths. There is no way to track collectibles in the final biome, unlike the other biomes that are shown on the World Dial, so you will have to keep doing more runs until this pops.

Full Arsenal (Silver)

Unlock all Main and Power Weapons, and defeat 25 hostiles with each.

There are 15 Main Weapons and 4 Power Weapons in the game that gradually unlock as you progress through the biomes. You need to use all of the weapons to get 25 kills each. Since there is no tracker in the game that shows how many hostiles you have defeated with a specific weapon, the best thing you can do is check the Databank, where you can see the usage percentage for every weapon. Try to get every weapon to around 20%, and that should unlock the trophy. If it does not, push them a bit further, and that should do the trick.

Spread the Cost (Bronze)

Land 7 consecutive Shotgun blasts with 100% pellet accuracy.

For this trophy, the best weapon is the Horde Shotgun. Landing every shot with a shotgun seven times can be difficult, but it is not impossible. The Alt-Fire on the Horde Shotgun makes the spread compact and gives it better range. Since switching targets and consistently landing 100% accuracy shots is hard, try to get this trophy during the Rhabdom fight in the third biome. The boss is one of the few grounded enemies, and it takes a few seconds to spawn, allowing you to get close and start spamming shots.

Nightmare Strands (Gold)

Enter and complete all 7 Nightmare Gates at least once.

There is a Nightmare Strand gate in all seven starting biomes. You need to visit and complete every gate at least once for this trophy to pop. The Nightmare Strands also appear in the same locations every time, making them easy to track.

Fall From Grace (Bronze)

Use the environment to eliminate a hostile without shooting it.

To unlock this, go to the last biome, as there are many holes and gaps that enemies can fall into. Here, you can parry a flying enemy’s attack, stagger it, and cause it to fall to its death.

Countermand (Bronze)

Stagger 2 hostiles simultaneously with one Parry.

This is quite easy to do in the last few biomes, since many enemies shoot Nova projectiles. Let a few enemies chase you and, once they are grouped together, parry an attack while positioning yourself so multiple enemies get hit and staggered.
