One of the things players will notice while exploring the first biome, Shattered Rise, in Saros is the small, circular, disc-like structures on the ground in various rooms as well as side paths. These mechanisms don’t do anything if a player stands on them and are often placed next to ledges that are otherwise inaccessible. These are Jump Network Pads, and players can unlock them fairly early on in Saros by completing a few simple steps.

How to Unlock the Jump Network Pads in Saros
If you want the straight answer for unlocking the Jump Network Pads, it’s that they unlock automatically as you progress through the story. However, if you want specifics and the location, you need to start with the first biome. Explore as many side paths as you can and open all possible containers so that you gather more artifacts and pick up higher proficiency weapons. This is mainly so you can breeze through the first biome and not have a difficult time against the boss of this biome, Prophet.
The boss fight can be tough, especially if you have not unlocked the Second Chance upgrade in the Armor Matrix using Halcyon. You should focus on the yellow glowing plants when they appear, then switch to the boss when its core opens up. Prophet has a variety of attacks and keeps adding more to its arsenal as the fight progresses through different phases. Once you defeat the boss, move forward, and you will reach the Ancient Depths, which is the second biome of the game.
Your arrival in this new biome will be short-lived, as you will be called back to the Passage. After talking to the NPCs in the hub and gathering any text or audio logs on the tables, you can interact with Primary, which now has a World Dial feature that opens a teleport to newly unlocked biomes. Use this to head back to the second biome and progress forward to trigger a cutscene.
After the cutscene ends, you will gain the ability to use the network pads to jump high into the air. These pads are usually placed next to ledges so you can reach higher areas and jump to different platforms.
