Axatana | Mortal Shell 2
Axatana is a Weapon in Mortal Shell 2. The Axatana is a dual-wielded, versatile weapon that can be adjusted to deal single-target damage or deal with groups of Enemies. Weapons are equipment that Shells can use in combat to deal damage to Enemies and Bosses. When upgraded, each weapon will have unique Weapon Abilities that have different effects on enemies.
A pair of twin blades, crafted to transform into an axe. An exquisite invention of unknown origin. The twin-blades are notable in their own right, but the mechanism by which they combine offers up near infinite possibilities in battle.
Where to Find the Axatana in Mortal Shell 2
Map Location
You can buy the Map that locates the Axatana on the overworld map. Merrick sells it at the Marrow Keep for 1100 Coins.
Weapon Location
The Axatana is located in the Ruins of Mammon, more specifically, in a hidden region within the Vestige of Infinity.
The starting point is the Castigator's Keep Beacon, located inside the Castigator's Keep.

This is the starting point to eventually find the Axatana. It is located on that small island to the east of this Beacon.
From here, go down the hill in front of the Beacon, defeat the several Parasited Soldiers you'll find, and take the wooden platforms path. It'll eventually take you to this bifurcation:

Cross the bridge shown in the picture, where you'll find several enemies around a Blue Flame. Remember that, to kill them, you must extinguish the flame first. Take the Bone Gate (also seen in the picture above), which will take you to a new zone inside the Vestige of Infinity. Here, you'll see a Launch Pad; take it.

Once you reach the top of the mountain, the first thing you'll see is a path going down to your left, as well as a couple of Cefatropods and a Canyon Crawler. Take this path downhill, which will end in a drop. You'll see a few enemies in the zone below. You must drop to this area.
Here, you'll find a few Hoodmen and a couple of Prophet Hammers. Get rid of them. Inside the chest, you'll find the Colossus Stone Tarstone. Now, take the Bone Gate, which will take you to a hidden region: the Forgotten Tower. You'll find the entrance to a giant tower. Inside, you'll find a Revered Gland and a staircase to go up. At the top of the staircase, you'll find three different entrances. Each takes you to a different zone of the Forgotten Tower, but the one we need to go through is the one to the right:

As you go through the entrance, immediately turn left. You must see a giant tree and a zone above with a Bone Gate on it:

Head to the edge of this area and squeeze yourself through the tiny path between the void and the high zone. Here, you should see a giant bell; shoot at it with your sidearm:

This will make the bridge above the bell reconstruct, giving you a chance to cross it. Go back to the previous room with the three entrances, then go through the entrance opposite to the one you just came from. At this point, to your right, you should see a staircase and, to your left, a Bone Gate. Go up the staircase.

At the top, simply cross the bridge, reach the chest (which contains the Muradean Tome), and then head to the zone behind the chest; peep down here. You'll see this area:

Heal yourself up (if you have low HP) and drop yourself to this zone below. The fall damage isn't too heavy, so unless you have less than 5% HP, you'll survive. Turn around to see a Dual Blade Assassin inside a room all blocked by gates. Nearby, you'll find a button to open one of these gates. Defeat the Dual Blade Assassin and claim the Axatana in this room.
