Meow is a Class Action in Baldur's Gate 3. Actions can be used in both exploration and combat to maneuver across the battlefield or to harm or aid Characters. The actions that a Character can perform are based on their Class and Equipment.

cats meow should be above 18 metres in my oppinion. you cant use it to lure minions away from the pack without causing a fight with the whole pack itself. if the range was buffed above 18 then the distance between the enemy sightline and the range of the buff could allow one to lure and backpedal the minions away from the pack. sadly because the range is the same as the enemy sightline it means you cant do this without being around a wall and whilst doing this go around further walls to beat the timing. this means the amount of players that get any actual use out of the meow for thinning the herd of undisturbed minions is fairly little. only the most mechanically aware baldurs gate 3 players can pull this off. most would never think to do this. this game is renowned for having such a huge amount of ways of going about things and i just wish this was one of them. like imagine if you could use your ghost hands trick to lure enemies by opening doors! that would be sick. sadly ghost hands arent used for luring and the cat which is supposed to take its place doesnt actually do it effectively.
