How to Defuse the Bomb in 007 First Light

  • Pull out the Battery.
  • Pull out the Motherboard.
  • Pull out the Wires.
  • Pull the Red and Green Wires.

In order to disarm the bomb, you'll need to quickly pull out the battery and motherboard, where you can then pick between three wires. However, the choice of the red, blue, and green wire doesn't actually matter, and any combination of the two will defuse the bomb.

If you let the 30-second timer expire, then there's a blinding flash of light, followed immediately by a game over screen that reads "Bond was killed". There's no secret cutscene to show Bond getting blown up, and you can simply hit retry to attempt the defusal again.

Can You Disarm the Second Bomb in 007 First Light?

Unfortunately, you cannot defuse the second bomb. This is the surprising twist in the mission, and despite how fast you disarm the first bomb, you wouldn't have known about the second one. The second bomb detonating is part of the mission, and the outcome cannot be changed.
