Rime is a DPS class hero in Fellowship.
"Rime is a ranged caster that draws from the Anima within her soul and the elements around her to damage her opponents. She utilizes these powers in two forms: Anima and Winter Orbs.
Many of Rime's basic abilities channel a form of Anima which fills up her Anima Bar. When this bar is filled the Anima coalesces into Winter Orbs. As a result of this coalescing, the remaining Anima is sent as Anima Spikes at nearby engaged enemies.
Winter Orbs are represented by the orbs on Rime's interface above the Anima Bar; these Orbs are spent to empower Rime's more powerful elemental abilities."
Biography
Hailing from the far and frozen north of Endring, Rime's upbringing instilled a healthy respect for the elemental forces around her. Her people spend their lives among the snow and ice and seek warmth and comfort in their traditions and the blessings of their tribal spirits.
Blessed or maybe cursed by the spirits of the land, Rime was given the ability to manipulate the flows of Anima around her. A skill that her tribe thought was lost to their past. She uses this ability to manipulate the water and ice around her, teaching her enemies to respect the elemental forces.

Rime BiS Weapons
The Void-Touched Conduit is Rime’s best Weapon for dealing with powerful single-target threats. The Voidbringer’s Touch debuff replicates a fifth of Rime’s damage and applies it to the target once the effect expires, or enough damage has been accumulated. This is essentially an occasional free damage burst that can add up to quite a bit of extra DPS over the course of prolonged fights. Needless to say, this effect is especially powerful during Boss fights.
Asha’s Chronoshift Spire is a good alternative for Rime thanks to its unique ability that deals hefty damage to all enemies around you while channeling. The radius is significant, allowing Rime to put the hurt on enemies from a relatively safe distance. As an added bonus, Chronoshift acts as a protective barrier that reduces all incoming damage by 50% while also providing massive Cooldown Recovery for 6 seconds.
We recommend using the Void-Touched Conduit for dealing with Bosses or other powerful single-target threats. If you feel like you don’t need extra help dealing with single entities, but could use a boost to your AoE damage, Asha’s Chronoshift Spire is the perfect choice for you.

Gem Priority
Gems in Fellowship offer various bonuses depending on their type. While it may be tempting to socket as many Gem types as possible into your Equipment in exchange for a wide variety of bonuses, it's generally a lot more efficient to specialize and focus on just a few types.
Rime benefits the most from Gems that increase her Haste (Topaz) and Critical Strike (Amethyst). You should also try to increase your main stat (Ruby) and secondary stats (Diamond) whenever possible. Generally speaking, Rime’s Gem priority should largely be as follows:
Topaz -> Amethyst -> Ruby -> Diamond -> Emerald -> Sapphire
Builds
This build is primarily focused on reducing cooldowns and lowering reliance on Frost Bolt as a filler Skill. This means that the playstyle will be more fast-paced and reactive, relying on Critical Strikes to deal extra damage and Talents that reduce Cooldown times, particularly for Freezing Torrent.
This build significantly improves the impact of the two main spenders Rime has - Ice Comet and Glacial Blast. This is done via guaranteed critical strikes, reduced cooldown and impact delay, and increased damage. The Avalanche build also utilizes the GRIEVOUS CRITICAL STRIKE - generating additional critical strike chance on top of 100% and turning it into additional base damage via the Frostweaver's Wrath and Icy Flow talents.
This build aims to improve the effectiveness of both builders and spenders in Rime's Skill Rotation - Freezing Torrent, Cold Snap, and Glacial Blast/ Ice Comet. The outcome is a well-rounded DPS for both parts of the rotation, slightly overtuned towards Glacial Blast/ Ice Comet. The Icy Flow Build includes a few talent variations, depending on the flow of the game and the damage type players need more - AoE(Area of Effect) or Single-target.

Rime Stat Priority
Rime's Stat priority is as follows:
- Intellect
- Haste
- Critical Strike = Expertise
- Spirit
Main stat is king in Fellowship, so you will want to focus on item level which in turn gives main stat on all pieces of gear minus neck and ring slots. Haste will decrease your global cooldown, ability cooldowns, and cast time. Haste will also make your Freezing/Soulfrost Torrent channel tick damage more times, leading to an increase in both single target and AOE damage. Crit and expertise are almost equal with crit having a slight edge, you'll want both stats regardless. Spirit gives you a chance to refund winter orbs when spent, this can improve DPS significantly in certain scencarios but is still outmatched by the other stats.
