Fellowship News
Xavian and Aeona, Characters Revealed! - February 16th, 2026
The official Fellowship channel on YouTube uploaded two videos on February 16th, 2026, showcasing the two upcoming heroes who will join the Fellowship roster in Season 2. They'll be available during the Pre-Season, which will kick off on February 19th, 2026.
These two new heroes are Xavian, a tank, and Aeona, a healer. Xavian is a tank hero with a unique perk; he can apply shields and heals not only to himself, but also to other teammates. While these heals aren't meant to provide full support and replace a healer, they will come in handy for specific moments during battle, allowing Xavian and his team to survive in the field longer and provide a bit of help when the healer of the team is out of battle.
Aeona, on the other hand, is a healer who will only heal through casting her abilities and inflicting damage to enemies. The amount of damage inflicted on an enemy also gets to be the same amount of heals applied to the entire group that is close to Aeona.
Also, during Aeona's Skill Overview, we get to see a bit of The Forest Meadow in action. The Forest Meadow is a giant, open area, full of living beings. Some of them are aggressive, like Boreal Wolves, and others, like the Redhart Stag, are friendly and appear as Allies on your team.
Pre-Season 2 Overview - January 20th, 2026
The official Fellowship channel on YouTube released a video on January 20th, 2026, discussing the upcoming Season 2 and briefly addressing the biggest changes the game will undergo. Season 2 is set to kick off with a Pre-Season, to be released on February 19th, 2026, but note that this date is subject to change as the update develops.
Here's a list of what was mentioned in the Overview video:
- Season 2 reset: As Season 2 starts, most of the individual heroes' stats and progression will get a reset. Gear, Talents, and general progression will be reset. The trims you've got through ranking play will also be reset. Note that Cosmetics and Mounts won't get reset; you won't lose those. Aside from stats, the currencies will also be reset, so try to spend them all as we reach mid-February, so you get the most out of them.
The aim of this reset is not to create an unfair advantage for those who have spent a lot of time grinding on the game compared with the rest of the people, so the race to get on the first few spots on the leaderboard is way more fair and enjoyable. - New Heroes: We got some new concept art for the heroes that will accompany Season 2. Their codenames (not their official names) are Sune and Liza. Note that these aren't their definitive names, and they'll most certainly change as we reach Season 2. The video shows a few concept arts of the new heroes, along with an interesting, pixelated preview of their models in-game. There are also small icons for them in the selection tab (again, these are subject to change), but there's also an icon of a male, blonde hero in the tank row that quickly gets covered by a "This is a lie" sign.

- The Forest Meadow: Hamish mentions a new space heavily focused on being more new player-friendly, named the Forest Meadow (This name is also a placeholder and will probably have a new name as Season 2 gets released). The aim of this new hub is to introduce the game to new players in a better, easier, and less stressful way, and to give players something to do while they wait in a queue to get into a game. This is something many players have been asking for, as Stronghold quickly gets boring. There will be objectives you can accomplish in this zone that will give you rewards and allow you to progress with your heroes.
Note that this will be another space and the Stronghold will still exist, so this isn't a rework of the Stronghold. You can enter and leave the Forest Meadow as you want. - Hero Balances and Updates: The development team aims to check each hero's progress, review their current builds, and buff or nerf accordingly. The aim is to have a more balanced game experience regardless of your hero of choice. Some mechanics could change slightly, and some abilities could gain passives, etc.
- A New Level of Customization: Another feature mentioned in the Overview video is that you would now customize your profile, adding banners, frames, icons, titles, and more. Hamish mentions that this feature might take a bit longer to be inserted into the game.
- Communities: Season 2 will also bring communities to Fellowship. While this is not expected to be part of Season 2 from day 1, it will likely be a new feature of the game soon after the update is released.
The Communities would allow players to create group chats with others, making it easier to form teams to explore dungeons and climb the leaderboard by finding players at your level. You can also join as many communities as you wish.
The aim is to allow people to find other players with the same interests as you, whether it is to get to the highest ranks or just have fun exploring new maps.
Two New Characters - Sune and Liza
On December 22nd, 2025, Fellowship released a video in which Hamish teased two new characters Sune and Liza. These two names are placeholders.
Sune is the new tank, he will have a "support style vibe" to him.
Liza is the new healer, she will be temporal based. Similar to Arcane Mage in World of Warcraft: Season of Discovery.

Halloween 2025 Event: The Haunting of Stronghold Announcement - October 29th, 2025
FELLOWSHIP’S FIRST-EVER HALLOWEEN EVENT, THE HAUNTING OF STRONGHOLD - OCTOBER 30 – NOVEMBER 13!
Something’s stirring in the Stronghold.
Fellowship’s first-ever in-game Halloween event, The Haunting of Stronghold, will run from tomorrow, October 30 (following Weekly Maintenance) to November 13! Whether you're a dungeon-diving veteran or just getting started on your adventure, this spooky seasonal event is packed with ghoulish goodies.
When the Fellowship came upon the crumbled fort deep within the Vidahlian Woodlands, they saw an opportunity to build a home, a Stronghold. They built anew among the ruins of the old fortress, unaware that the place once belonged to heroes of another age. When the veil grows thin and the wind whispers through the trees, their spirits rise once more to walk the paths they once called home.
Join the Fellowship for this spooky season to unlock exclusive cosmetics for a limited time!
Also, for tomorrow’s Weekly Maintenance, in addition to going out with this event, we’ll be going out with a major patch that will have a bunch of bug fixes and balancing updates thanks to your feedback! Patch Notes will be shared tomorrow. Note: Weekly Maintenance will be at 7am CET every Thursday.
We’ve made a lot of progress since Early Access launch, but we know that there’s still work to be done to address key issues. We are working hard to improve the game – but alongside the patch we have tomorrow, we figured to get us all in the spooky season spirit, it’d be fun to have a Halloween event!

Fellowship Beginner's Guide and Final Playtesting
Fellowship developers have put together a beginners guide video, covering the core of the game, and some key points about heroes. Check it out on their Youtube Channel.
In addition they have announced a final playtest in their discord, see below for the full post:
Hello my Fellows!
You always have our promise that we'll be as transparent with all of you as we possibly can. I've just let our private testers know that we've decided to do what we're calling a dress rehearsal. This means we'll be re-inviting existing private testers to help us with the final test before we jump into Early Access next week. The test servers will be available for up to 48 hours from around lunchtime in Sweden on Friday 10th October.
While this is only open to people that have been invited to and completed the onboarding for our previous tests, we are certain that this will be super helpful for our Early Access launch. I know it may be disappointing for those of you that don't have access and are itching to get in-game but there's not long to go now!
FOR EXTRA CLARITY: Private testers are those that signed up through Firstlook.gg and have completed the onboarding through that system and signed the NDA. This does not apply to players that joined through Steam for our Open Beta or similar tests (Steam Next Fest for example).
After we're in Early Access, there may be more tests of unreleased content so it's still worth signing up to firstlook.gg so you can be on that waitlist

Hi Fellows - Thanks so much for your patience and understanding as we try to resolve the server and queue issues we've experienced today. Trust us, we want you all to successfully get into the Beta -- we know you all have been waiting for it!
Wanted to share an update: The investigation surrounding the issues is still ongoing, and we're looking into every possible way of getting this resolved as quickly as possible. We've been actively investigating the issues since Open Beta began, and need a slight break to rest for a few hours (it's late in Sweden!) After some much needed rest, tomorrow, we will continue to troubleshoot and hope to resolve the issues.

Early Access Delayed! September 09, 2025
Chief Rebel, the developers, and Arc Games, the publishers of Fellowship, have confirmed that the Early Access date has been delayed by a week, from October 9, 2025, to October 16, 2025. It was confirmed through the Fellowship's official channel on YouTube. There are two main reasons behind this decision. Firstly, Chief Rebel wanted more time to polish the game, balance the characters, and ensure everything was as perfect as possible so that people could enjoy the game right from the start. The second reason for delaying the release date is timing, as many highly anticipated games are scheduled for release around October 9, 2025, the original date. By delaying it, both developers and Arc Games ensure Fellowship will have enough time and space to shine on its own.
The Open Beta will still run from September 18 to September 23, 2025, where players will enjoy almost everything the game has to offer since the last time people was able to play Fellowship: Quick Play and Ranked matches, a new dungeon, improvements on the crafting system, more Talents for each hero, the first official appearance of Mara, cosmetic customization for each hero, and more.
Early Access Announced! August 20, 2025
Fellowship devs have announced through a YouTube video and on their official Discord Server that players can buy the Early Access to Fellowship from October 9, 2025. This Early Access is set to cost $24.99, and you'll be able to find it through Steam.
Private Test and Open Beta News August 15, 2025
Fellowship is set to run a Private Test that will start on August 22, 2025. The devs announced via Fellowship's official YouTube Channel that this Private Test will run until September 18, 2025, when the Open Beta will start. The Open Beta is set to be active until September 23, 2025.
While the Open Beta will not restrict any player who wants to try it, the Private Test will be way different. For its first week, all players who asked to be included in the last Private Test will be invited to be part of this Private Test. After that, Fellowship devs will choose players from a large pool of applicants, and this will happen each week until September 18. The application to be part of this Private Test is already open, and you can apply right now. You can find a short survey to apply in the description of the latest video in the official Fellowship Channel on YouTube. You can also find the video by clicking here.
Please note that if you're accepted to this test, you'll need to sign an NDA, meaning you can't share any information about what you'll see during the test. Otherwise, you can lose access or face worse consequences.
New Features You'll Find In the Open Beta
- The most important new feature is Mara, a new Rogue Assassin hero. Her focus is to be the DPS of a team, inflicting passive damage to big groups of enemies while also focusing on specific targets.
- Fellowship will now include Weapons, which will be able to provide the heroes with new abilities to combine with their ability kit and talents.
- Now, there will be two types of queues to play Fellowship. There will be a fast-paced queue named Quickplay where you'll enter a random short dungeon and your target will be to complete it. Here, the main focus here will be to allow you get used to new heroes while unlocking their full ability kit and set their Talents. The reward for Quickplay matches will be tokens, which you can exchange for new cosmetics, like mounts, outfits, etc. Then, you'll have the Ranked Queue, where you'll find better rewards like Gems, Weapons, Gear, etc.
- All already-existing heroes will receive a revamp on their Ability Kits and Talents, mostly to make them feel fresh ahead of the Open Beta. Now, Heroes will have a larger pool of Talents to unlock and choose from.
New Hero Spotlight August 7, 2025
Mara was announced as a new hero that fits squarely in the Melee DPS category. Mara delivers brutal strikes from unsuspecting enemies as she utilizes stealth to flank her prey. She thrives utilizing combo points generated by her abilities to inflict high-burst damage. See her in action with the official video from the development team here.
Developer Update April 8, 2025
On April 8, 2025, the development team offered an update post-playtest to respond to player feedback. The full video can be found here. Below is a summation of the items discussed.
The Difficulty Curve
- Progression appeared to move a little too fast. The dev team noted that they will look at amending the following:
- Upgrade costs
- Streamline loot
- Make the difficulty curve "sharper" as the differences between each difficulty seems to be too small
Critical Hits
- Eliminate critical hits on projectiles from mobs
Situational Issues
- Streamline curses so they aren't feeling random
Character Progression
- Expand Gem & Socket system
- Move significant gem powers out of the gem system and over to the loot system
Where Are Your Pants?
- Addressing "randomness" of gear. Some players spent too much time on a character without finding gear for certain slots.
Weapons
- Weapons drops were not a part of the playtest. However, the team confirms that they will have weapon drops in the early access build as they understand players enjoy that aspect of looting in RPGs. This was always a part of the plan, and their absence from the playtest was intentional as the team was still exploring how to make weapons more interesting beyond simply increasing stats.
- Weapons will add abilities to their character's action bar.
- Weapons will likely be the most powerful portion of a character's build. Talents and Gems will then be second and third respectively.
- The team is exploring "more" with regards to armor sets. More to come.
Early Access
- On Day 1 of Early Access, the dev team wants the game to feel great to play all around with most major issues buttoned up. "It should be great, and then we'll make it greater. That's how we look at it." - Axel Lindberg (Game Director)
- Early Access will happen "some time this year."
Fellowship Community Council
- It's a group of players on an NDA to gain feedback to continue to refine the game. They already have several players involved, but are looking for more players will diverse views with regards to the game and its mechanics.
- How to join:
- Simply DM Hamish Bode (Community Director) on Discord (@unknown-user) and share why you'd be a good fit for the council. Even if you have little to no experience with games like Fellowship, that very trait could aid in diversification of perspectives on the game. He'll then add you to a list for consideration.
