Cithrel's Fall is a Dungeon in Fellowship. This is a challenging Dungeon in Fellowship featuring three boss encounters in an icy tundra setting. This gauntlet-style instance pits players against endless waves of enemies while testing coordination through complex boss mechanics and environmental challenges.
Deep in the frozen north, high atop a windswept mountain, lies the forgotten prison of Al’zerac — an ancient frost wyrm whose rampage once nearly shattered the world. For centuries, the prison's guardians used two Wardstones to seal its outer wards — but time has eroded both vigilance and loyalty. Now, Cithrel's draconic cult has turned its gaze upon the vault, seeking to break its seals and release Al'zerac upon the world once more. Now, Cithrel, Devourer of the Wyrmheart — passes through the outer wards. The seals crack beneath her power. And when the last lock breaks... Al’zerac will rise. Not to be worshipped but wielded as a living weapon that will restore the Eldrin's fading empire to its tyrannical former glory.

Cithrel's Fall Bosses
Noor, The Betrayer
Noor, The Betrayer is the first boss fight that you'll encounter in Cithrel's Fall. This foe has several punishing tricks up his sleeve including the following. Keep in mind that Sentinels and other mobs will spawn during this confrontation. While fighting Noor, The Betrayer, focus on maintaining interrupt rotations while tanks establish proper positioning. DPS should prioritize spell interrupts on adds while focusing them down and using damage mitigation during Arcane Volley, ensuring consistent damage uptime through proper threat management.
Strategy: Keep the boss near center, pre-assign safe lanes for Twist, and step out with Betrayer’s Arrow. Place Razor Traps at the edge. On add waves, stabilize and kick Sentinel casts
Cold-blooded Twist
- Several light-blue cone-shaped areas will appear around the entire radius of the arena emating from Noor. You know the drill, find a save space outside of these cones.
- Once this maneuver is engaged, he'll spin rapidly launching a barrage of icy arrows down each of these cone-shaped paths damaging anyone in their path.
- After the first volley of arrows, the cone-shaped areas will rotate on the ground with little warning as he fires another volley. You must move with your safe space as these rotate.
Ancient Koros
Koros has several, very important mechanics to manage by all member of the party. He is also the first major stumbling block of progression and can be a hard stop to many groups first attempting the dungeon. He has numerous mechanics that need to be handled by all members of the team to ensure his defeat.
Strategy: Keep boss central; ranged bait Orbs; align Shatterstrike to clear them. Rotate soaks among the three non-bait players, and drop Calamity Rifts away from the orb path and melee space. Dispel Converging Cold immediately.
Calamitous Fracture
- Koros summons a circular portal on the ground. Indicated by an arrow above it, a single player must stand in the portal before it explodes, dealing massive damage to the group.
- Once they soak the Fracture, they'll be hit with the debuff Unstable Energy. The player should run to the edges of the area before they drop a Calamity Rift, which will damage anyone standing in in.
- Upon standing in the Calamitous Fracture, the player will also gain the debuff Calamitous Affliction that lasts for a few seconds. While affected, they take 100% damage from Calamitous Fracture, necessitating a rotation of players soaking these portals.
Shatterstrike
- The boss winds up a powerful punch to ground that causes ice shards and spikes to erupt from the ground in a wide frontal cone. This shockwave is necessary for getting rid of Volatile Orbs.
Volatile Orb
- Ancient Koros summons orbs that will chase after a player. These orbs will explode with high damage if they strike a player. To get rid of them, run them into where the boss is casting Shatterstrike, which will destroy them.
Cithrel
The final boss of Cithrel's Fall is none other than Cithrel himself. Cithrel represents the dungeon's culminating challenge, featuring complex positioning mechanics and group coordination requirements that test sustained team performance.
Strategy: Assign soak callers for Path to Oblivion and keep the party tight so the re-hit catches everyone. Keep tank frontal safe lanes, stabilize Bleeds from Bloodhunt, and save a damage/mitigation window for Frenzy.
Breath of Al'zerac
- A cone-shaped area in front of Cithrel will appear when he initiates this attack. He'll then jump in the air and unleash a breath attack covering that area.
Path to Oblivion
- Once this attack is initiated, one party member will be targeted with a blue light pillar over their avatar. They will then be pummeled with an ice mass that deals heavy damage.
Maelstrom
- This attack is when Cithrel flies into the area and spins fast creating a quick vortex that pulls players in and damages them.
Bloodhunter's Mark
- Targets multiple party members with a red circle underneath them inflicting them with "Blood Hunt" which causes deeper damage impact from strikes and a lingering bleed DoT.
Draconic Frenzy
- At 50% health, Cithrel becomes enraged, reducing the cooldown of all his abilities for the rest of the fight.
