Hwando is easily one of the, if not the best, weapons to get as you start your journey in Crimson Desert. The Hwando sword is a two-handed katana that deals immense damage, already comes equipped with 3 useful Abyss Gears, with room for a total of 5.

If you want Hwando, you just need a Mask, a Key, and to know how to get to Lioncrest Manor. Below, we'll showcase the easy steps you need to take in Hernand to grab this sword ASAP to make your journey a little easier, thanks to an OP weapon as you start.

How to Get Hwando in Crimson Desert

  1. First, visit Grimrack at Hernand Farmouse, which is south of Hernand Village (marked on the map above).
  2. In Grimrack's inventory, you can purchase a Key (30 Bronze Coins) and a Mask (10 Coins).
  3. Equip the Mask in your inventory, which will allow you to steal items.
  1. Head to Lioncrest Manor (shown above), which is north of Hernand Village.
  2. To the left of the main entrance, you'll find a wall to a separate building with a wooden window.
  3. Climb the wall and open the window, then climb inside.
  4. Once inside, look to your right to find a locked door, which can be opened simply by walking into it with a Key in your inventory.
  5. Inside the now unlocked room, you can find a Treasure Chest that contains Hwando and a Refined Palmar Pill (revives you at 100% Health instead of 30%).
  6. Exit the way you came in through the window, and the guards will be none the wiser.

Hwando is a 19 Attack Two-Handed Weapon that comes with Critical Rate 1, Stamina Siphon Lv1, and Attack 1. This is a brilliant sword to use for the early game and is worth investing in.
