Some enemies and bosses in Crimson Desert can fly, which puts you at a bit of a disadvantage when all you have is a sword and immense rage for these non-ground-based lifeforms. Thankfully, there are some extremely useful ways to kill these enemies and get them down to the floor.

If you're looking for abilities to kill flying enemies, try out Nature's Retribution and Focused Shot. We'll showcase both of these abilities below, how to get and use them, along with what makes them great at dealing with flying pests.

How to Deal With Flying Enemies in Crimson Desert

Nature's Retribution

Nature's Retribution is a Spirit Skill that can be obtained from the green skill tree. You can find Nature's Retribution as Nature's Snare Level 2, which requires both Keen Sense Level 3 and Focus Level 2 (A total of 7 Abyss Artifacts).

To use Nature's Retribution:

  1. Click in L3+R3 to enter Focus.
  2. Rotate the Right Stick clockwise to create a barrier of wind that blocks projectiles.
  3. Once you've blocked enough projectiles in Nature's Snare, press R3 to shoot out that absorbed energy into a fierce shot.

This is great for flying enemies, as you can absorb their damage and shoot it back at them. By locking onto the enemy during Focus, you'll never miss your shot, and you'll ensure that the enemy will be sent down to the ground, opening them up for some melee action.

Focused Shot

Focused Shot is a Spirit Skill in the green skill tree that requires you to have Marksmanship Level 2 and Focus Level 2 (a grand total of 5 Abyss Artifacts).

To use Focused Shot:

  1. While aiming your bow with L2, press L3+R3 to enter Focus.
  2. While aiming with Focus, press R1. Each red dot that appears is an arrow that will fire.
  3. This is how you can fire multiple arrows at once to build damage and stun, with each further Focused Shot upgrade granting more damage.

Focused Shot isn't as good as Nature's Retribution, but it's a great investment if you intend to use Arrows (especially Explosive Arrows) and an upgraded Bow. Bow gameplay is fun, and Focused Shot is stronger than you think, and definitely comes in handy against some flying bosses and flying enemies.
