The Witch of Wisdom, Elowen, will task Cliff with cleansing the Sanctum of Temperance in Crimson Desert. Cleansing the Sanctum won't be an easy job, though, as players will first need to liberate it from Umbra followers. Later, they'll need to solve a puzzle to finally cleanse the sanctum. While that sounds like a lot of work, all your effort will be rewarded with two different blueprints. So, here's how to solve the Sanctum of Temperance puzzle in Crimson Desert.
Crimson Desert: How to Beat Tenebrum Boss
Tenebrum is a boss in Crimson Deserts that players will encounter in the Scholastone area, here's how to quickly defeat it.
Sanctum of Temperance Location in Crimson Desert
Sanctum of Temperance is located southeast of Hernand City in Crimson Desert, just beyond the Goldleaf Merchant settlement. You'll need to travel quite a bit to reach there, unless you have a fast travel point unlocked nearby.
You won't be able to solve the Sanctum puzzles, including Temperance, until you reach Chapter 5 and unlock Elowen, the Witch of Wisdom.
The Sanctum's area will be crowded with Umbra's forces, and you'll need to fight them off until the liberation bar on the left becomes 0%. It's only after clearing this area that you'll be able to take on the Sanctum of Temperance puzzle and cleanse it to complete the Witch's request.
Make sure you have enough arrows, and they'll be required to shoot down flying wizards and then deal with them via melee weapons.
How to Cleanse the Sanctum of Temperance (Puzzle Solution) in Crimson Desert
Once you've taken out the Umbra order, the first thing you'll need to solve the Sanctum of Temperance puzzle in Crimson Desert is to find a Fusion Reactor and a Core. The Fusion Reactor core can be found at the bottom of the stairway, near the Sanctum's entrance. Simply grab the Fusion Reactor Core and seal it inside the KuKu Pot.
Once you remove the Fusion Reactor Core, you'll find a small passageway covered in vines behind it. Burn the vines off using the Blinding Flash ability. There's a chest inside the small room that you can open up to get the Odeck's Protector Plate Boots, which come with an HP regeneration core.
Next, head up to the main area where you'll find the large machine. You'll notice the wall next to the machine is covered in vines. Burn these vines as well using the Blinding Flash, and use it to climb to the top. There's another patch of vines on the roof that you can burn off, to enter the locked room underneath through a small hole in the ceiling.
Inside the room, you'll find the Fusion Reactor, the last part you'll need to complete the Sanctum of Temperance puzzle.
The next part is simple; all you need to do is go inside your KuKu Pot and discard the Fusion Reactor. Hold it with Axiom Force and place it over the one pillar that's missing a Fusion Reactor (should be to the left of the main machine). Next, you'll need to climb the pillar and perform an Aerial Force Palm move (jumping and doing the Force Palm).
Next, discard the Fusion Reactor Core (block) from your KuKu Pot and place it inside the square-shaped hole on the main machine. Once you do that, the Sanctum of Temperance puzzle in Crimson Desert will be completed. After the cutscene with the Witch, players will receive the Kuku Lightning Spear & Kuku Bird Boltspitter Blueprints as a reward.
