The Children of the Woods is a Quest where players have to locate 4 Shai’s locations around the map of Pywel in Crimson Desert. The quest will be handed out to players by The Shai Resident, who will give them the A Traveler’s Log Book and ask them to bring all the children back to Pororin Village.

To trigger the Children of the Woods Quest in Crimson Desert, players need to complete The Unreachable Village Quest. Afterward, enter Pororin Forest and strike up a conversation with the 4 Shai, who will disperse to different locations to see the world’s wonders.

Players will need to speak with Polan next, who will assign them the task of locating and bringing back the wandering Shais to Pororin Forest.

She will give players a Book, which you can read to learn more about the locations of each Shai.

The best order for players to locate all the 4 Shai in one run is by starting with the First Shai, Fourth, Second, then Third, or vice versa, Third, Second, Fourth, then First.

How To Complete Children Of The Woods Quest In Crimson Desert

First Shai Location In Crimson Desert

The First Shai in Crimson Desert will be found in the Mystic Falls, which is located in The Ancient Rift. To locate Ara, travel north from the City of Hernand with a horse or by teleporting to a nearby Abyss Nexus.

Upon arrival, descend to the rocks between the waterfalls, then search for a gap in the surface rocks and drop into it to reach the Hernadian Territory’s underground.

Next, players should look for a glowing tree to find the First Shai location in Crimson Desert. Initiating a conversation with the child will send the Shai back to Pororin Forest.

Second Shai Location In Crimson Desert

The Second Shai is in Redtree Forest, which can be found in Red River west of Demeniss.

To find her, mount your horse and travel to the southern edge of Demeniss until you find a cave’s entrance at the side of a mountain.

Enter it, and speak with Balan, who is standing by the big red tree, to send the Shai back to Pororin Forest.

Third Shai Location In Crimson Desert

The Third Shai is in the Three Brothers’ Cliff Wyvern Nest, located in the southwestern part of Delesiya.

To reach Alder, ride your mount to the marked location in Crimson Desert, then jump down between the cliff’s gaps, specifically to where the huge nests are.

Afterward, go behind the big rock to find the Third Shai and strike up a conversation with the child.

Fourth Shai Location In Crimson Desert

The Fourth Shai will be in the undergrounds of the Desert Edge Maze, located in the Smoking Lands of Demeniss, which is northeast of the City of Hernand. Reaching it requires players traveling to Demeniss either by horse in Crimson Desert, a nearby Abyss Nexus, or an Abyss Cresset.

Once players arrive, glide down between the Maze’s edges and find a gap in the ground to drop to the underground.

Use the Lantern to light up the space, and move towards the greenery between the two rocks where the rabbits gather. Players will find the Fourth Shai, Florian, there. Send the Shai back to Pororin Forest in Crimson Desert.

After locating all the Shais, go back to Pororin Forest and talk to Polan again to finish the Children Of The Woods and acquire the Pororin Petal Hat as a reward for your help.
