Destroyed Barrier Stone of the Lake Walkthrough in Crimson Desert

"Destroyed Barrier Stone of the Lake" requires players to help the trolls at Kharonso in Scholastone. This quest requires players to find the four unique barrier stones across Kharonso and then assemble the broken pieces so that they can fix the lake's structure and summon a boss fight.

If you've placed the stones but you don't have the quest, then you need to complete more Hernand Faction Quests until you get the "Kharonso Troll Alliance" mission, found in the "Journal", then "Hernand Faction Quests".

How to Find All Barrier Stones in Crimson Desert

Find the Barrier Stone in the Well

1. Just east of the lake, you'll find a well made of bricks and covered with moss.
2. Jump into the well and use Flight (Square/X) to safely drop down to the bottom.
3. At the bottom of the well is the Barrier Stone, which you can collect with Axiom Force (L3) to Seal it (Triangle).
4. To leave the well, face west and look up to the light above.
5. Use Jump + Force Palm three times to gain height, then climb the rocks and use the ledges to recover stamina as you make your way out.

Find the Barrier Stone in the Ruins

1. From the lake, head south, where you can find a giant wooden structure.
2. On the ground level beneath the wooden structure, you can find the Ruins.
3. Head inside and jump through the stone square to find the Barrier Stone in the center of the Nameless Cave.
4. Pick up the Barrier Stone with Axiom Force (L3) and Seal (Triangle) to add it to the Kuku Pot.

Find the Barrier Stone in the Excavation Site

1. Head south into Everfrost Basin.
2. You'll find a cave entrance at the west rock wall, blocked by vines.
3. Use L1+R1, then L1 to use Blinding Flash to burn the vines and reveal the next wall.
4. The wall can be destroyed with Focus Force Palm, which is achieved with L3 + R3, then R3 again until you see a glowing gold orb, which you can strike with Force Palm.
5. Inside the Excavation Site, there is the Barrier Stone covered in chains.
6. Attack the chains (R1+R2 works best) until they break.
7. Use Axiom Force (L3) on the Barrier Stone and press Triangle to "Seal" it into the Kuku Pot.

Find the Barrier Stone in the Caves

1. Head south through Kharonso, where you'll eventually find a cave in the rock wall.
2. Head through the cave and through the iron gate to find the Black Claw Cave.
3. Inside, you'll see the Barrier Stone. Careful, this one has a burnt end, which means it can damage you and NPCs if touched.
4. Use Axiom Force (L3) to Seal (Triangle) the Barrier Stone into the Kuku Pot.

How to Restore All Barrier Stones in Crimson Desert

Kharonso Ruins Pillar: No. 1

1. Head into the Inventory and Select the Kuku Pot.
2. Click "Discard" (Square/X) to place the Kharonso Ruins Pillar: No. 1 down.
3. Use Axiom Force (L3) to place the Kharonso Ruins Pillar: No. 1 onto the fourth broken pillar (from left to right)
4. Once in position, use Jump + Force Palm to climb on top.
5. Use Jump + Force Palm again to slot the pillar into position.

Kharonso Ruins Pillar: No. 2

1. Head into the Inventory and Select the Kuku Pot.
2. Click "Discard" (Square/X) to place the Kharonso Ruins Pillar: No. 2 down.
3. Use Axiom Force (L3) to place the Kharonso Ruins Pillar: No. 2 onto the first broken pillar (from left to right)
4. Once in position, use Jump + Force Palm to climb on top.
5. Use Jump + Force Palm again to slot the pillar into position.
6. Be careful with Kharonso Ruins Pillar: No. 2, as the bottom is on fire, and if it touches an NPC, you will get a bounty.

Kharonso Ruins Pillar: No. 3

1. Head into the Inventory and Select the Kuku Pot.
2. Click "Discard" (Square/X) to place the Kharonso Ruins Pillar: No. 3 down.
3. Use Axiom Force (L3) to place the Kharonso Ruins Pillar: No. 3 onto the second broken pillar (from left to right)
4. Use Jump + Force Palm to jump on top of Kharonso Ruins Pillar: No. 3.
5. While on top, use Jump + Force Palm to set Kharonso Ruins Pillar: No. 3 into place.

Kharonso Ruins Pillar: No. 4

1. Head into the Inventory and Select the Kuku Pot.
2. Click "Discard" (Square/X) to place the Kharonso Ruins Pillar: No. 4 down.
3. Use Axiom Force (L3) to place the Kharonso Ruins Pillar: No. 4 onto the third broken pillar (from left to right)
4. Use Jump + Force Palm to jump on top of Kharonso Ruins Pillar: No. 4.
5. While on top, use Jump + Force Palm to set Kharonso Ruins Pillar: No. 4 into place.

Once all four pillars have been slotted correctly, they will lower into the water and reveal a cutscene, which unlocks a unique boss fight. We'll share how to beat this boss below.

How to Beat Vordis, the Runewalker in Crimson Desert

1. Vordis has a weakspot on his head.
2. Use Axiom Force (L3) to grab the glowing prism from his head.
3. Hold L2 and down on the Right Stick to pull the prism from Vordis's head.
4. This will see Vordis collapse into pieces.
5. You can now spam your attacks (R2 is preferred) to damage Vordis while he's a pile of rocks.
6. Repeat this until Vordis dies.
7. You should use the Kharonso Ruins Pillar as cover while Vordis attacks, as you can safely pull his prism head off from behind these pillars.

With Vordis, the Runewalker defeated, you will obtain the Mossy Secret Map, which can be used from your Key Items to reveal the locations of all Legendary Fish. You will also get an Abyss Artifact when you approach the new stone structure!
