Earth Directorate is a Faction in The Outer Worlds 2. Earth Directorate is an administrative body formed on Earth, tasked with coordinating trade, resolving disputes between Earth and its colonies, including cataloging and licensing of star systems to companies. Earth Directorate is the faction of (you), the Commander.
Factions are groups or corporations encountered within Arcadia, each with its own objectives and agendas. Factions are tied heavily into the Reputation System, and unlocking a certain level will affect the player's status with the group, granting certain bonuses or consequences, like merchant trading prices, NPC hostility, reward bonuses, and quest availability.
