Nintendo Switch Online is ringing in September with the latest classic icons, this time for Pilotwings and Pilotwings 64.
These designs will be available throughout the month. There are seven icons available for the original Pilotwings and five for Pilotwings 64. Everything here costs 10 Platinum Points each on My Nintendo.
Nintendo just released a surprise version 1.2.0 update for Pikmin 3 Deluxe.
The patch is aimed entirely at Nintendo Switch 2 players. Starting today, after installing the patch, players can experience a sharper image with higher resolution. This applies to both docked and handheld modes. Additionally, GameShare support is included.

A new Konami Press Start showcase will be held on September 3, 2026, it’s been announced. The presentation airs at 8 AM PT / 11 AM ET / 4 PM in the UK / 5 PM in Europe.
Konami says fans can look forward to the “latest news and updates”. In terms of Nintendo-related games, we know that Castlevania: Belmont’s Curse and eFootball Kick-Off will be display. Other confirmed titles include Silent Hill Townfall, Rev. Noir, and Project Zircon.
indie.io and SoulBlade Studio are putting SoulQuest on Nintendo Switch, they’ve announced. The title is set to release on September 3, 2026.
SoulQuest is a side-scrolling spectacle fighter. Players will go on a journey to defy the gods to seize the power of Morrigan, Goddess of Death, and retrieve the soul of their beloved.

LEGO Harry Potter Collection will be appearing on Nintendo Switch 2, according to a retailer listing.
A new page just went up today for the package over at VGP. This has not yet been officially announced by Warner Bros, but should be soon – especially if the October 16 release date is accurate.
NIS America has put up a new publisher sale on the Nintendo eShop with tons of discounts for Switch, and even a couple for Switch 2. La-Mulana, Mad Rat Dead, and more are at new low prices.

Mega busters at the ready, because the super fighting robot Mega Man is back in mainline classic action after almost a decade sitting on the sidelines, and he’s got a few new tricks up his sleeve this time around. The initial reveal of Mega Man: Dual Override during The Game Awards last year had me jumping and sliding with excitement, and the more of the game that was getting teased in the intervening months had only heightened that hype. At Gamescom this year, I got to sit down with the game for an hour and really get into the nitty gritty of what makes this new Blue Bomber title unique compared to other entries in the series. Tales of Formentera is coming to Nintendo Switch courtesy of Ratalaika Games and Three Monkeys, they’ve announced. The title launches this Friday, September 4.
Tales of Formentera is an adventure game in which you’ll explore an island and uncover its stories and ancient legends. Expect to discover hidden places, solve puzzles, collect unique items, and help islanders with optional side quests.
