List of all Nintendo Switch demos
Posted on 16 hours ago by Brian(@NE_Brian) in Guides, Switch | 0 comments
Thousands of games are currently available on Nintendo Switch, and there are a ton of demos out there for many of them. Not just Nintendo, but also third-parties are offering demos. We’ve now put together a comprehensive list of what’s out there.
Since our reader base is English-speaking, that’s what we’re focusing on here. In other words, we’re highlighting Switch demos that you can find in North America and Europe. Japan has a few extra demos on its end, but a majority of them are for titles that are not currently being sold in the west and are only playable in Japanese.
How to beat the secret boss in Splatoon Raiders
Posted on 1 week ago by Ethan in Guides, Switch 2 | 0 comments
Today, we’re going over how to beat Splatoon Raiders’ secret boss.
Splatoon Raiders is a pretty big game – getting to the main ending is simple enough, taking somewhere around 20 hours or more if you really take your time. In order to get to the secret boss, though, you’ll have to fight through tons of challenges that could bump your total play time up to around 40 hours.
Thankfully, Splatoon Raiders’ secret boss is nowhere near as difficult as Octo Expansion’s – we were able to clear it in under three attempts, though each attempt takes quite a while. We’re being as vague as possible in this first section to avoid spoilers, so save this post and come back later if you get to the secret boss and need some tips.

Star Fox 100 percent completion criteria list
Posted on 2 weeks ago by Ethan in Guides, Switch 2 | 0 comments
You may have noticed we’re posting this Star Fox 100% completion criteria list over a month after the game originally released on Switch 2. Why so long? Because one month is, give or take, about how long it took this writer to fully complete the game! There are quite a few tasks to fulfill if you want to go for 100 percent completion, and they range from extremely difficult to extremely time-consuming, and sometimes even both at the same time. You’ll need tons of patience and lots of skill to make it through, so if you’re up for the challenge, here’s how you can do it yourself.

7 Star Annihilape guide for Pokemon Scarlet and Violet
Posted on 2 weeks ago by Ethan in Guides, Switch 2 | 0 comments
We haven’t written up a guide for Pokemon Scarlet and Violet 7 Star Tera Raid Battles in a while, but the currently ongoing 7 Star Annihilape event is extremely difficult. We figured it’d be helpful to share some tips.
Annihilape is running Tera Ghost, and it has Rage Fist, which increases in power by 50 every time it takes damage. And if you have any CPUs in the battle at all, Annihilape could take damage up to four times per turn. Needless to say, Rage Fist is quickly going to spiral out of control, eventually outdamaging even the strongest Z-Move. That means you absolutely must run a Normal-type, but Annihilape also has Close Combat. To make matters worse, it has Defiant, which makes this raid much more difficult if you’re a solo player. Luckily, we’ve come up with a two-Pokemon team to take 7 Star Annihilape down.

Where to find the Starmie Doll in Pokemon Pokopia
Posted on 3 weeks ago by Ethan in Guides, Switch 2 | 0 comments
For those playing Pokemon Pokopia, we’ve got a dedicated guide about where to find the Starmie Doll and how to get it.
Pokemon Pokopia’s Bubbly Basin DLC recently dropped, and with the new area also comes a new Dream Island. Inevitably, you’ll run out of materials to find within Bubbly Basin, so you’ll need to use the newly-introduced Starmie Doll to grab some coral, ore, and pearls. And while the easiest way to get a Starmie Doll is to take a picture of it on a Cloud Island – 6DXL PD6F is our personal favorite, and includes just about every item in the game – we’ll go into more detail on that, as well as the intended way to obtain a Starmie Doll plus the Legendary* Pokemon you can find on the island with a rare chance. If you don’t want to be spoiled on who that is, you might want to come back later – otherwise, let’s get right into it.

Star Fox Battle Mode tips and tricks
Posted on 1 month ago by Ethan in Guides, Switch 2 | 0 comments
Today, we’re going over some tips and tricks that’ll help you get more wins in Star Fox’s Battle Mode! As a side note, with every match you complete, you get a new avatar or banner unlock, so this is technically required for 100 percent completion.
Most people playing Star Fox are probably doing so for the campaign and challenge modes, which is totally fine – they’re both fun! The battle mode is surprisingly in-depth too, though, and it’s fairly easy for anyone to participate in regardless of skill level. That said, you can’t exactly carry over all of your skills from the campaign and challenge modes, because things work rather differently in battle mode thanks to its unique set of rules.

Beginner tips for Xenoblade Chronicles: Definitive Edition
Posted on 2 months ago by Ethan in Guides, Switch, Switch 2 | 0 comments
Those playing Xenoblade Chronicles: Definitive Edition can now check out our lineup of beginner tips.
June’s Nintendo Direct announced Switch 2 Editions for all three numbered Xenoblade games, which means it’s the perfect time to get into one of Nintendo’s greatest franchises of all time. If you’re new to the series and haven’t played Xenoblade before, we’d recommend starting out with the first game and playing them in order.
As with all games, Xenoblade Chronicles does have a little bit of a learning curve. The combat isn’t what’s typically expected from a JRPG, so if you’re looking to get into this game for the first time and need some pointers, we’ve got you covered. No major spoilers here, though we do discuss two early-game party members, so if you really want to know absolutely nothing going into the game you might want to come back later.

For those taking on the brand new DK Challenge event for Nintendo Switch Online on Switch 2, we’ve got a complete guide for you.
The DK Challenge is, hence its name, a Donkey Kong-focused challenge that was announced during the recent Nintendo Direct. It’s live now, and it continues until September 1 of this year. The challenges can only be completed on Switch 2, and are spread out across Nintendo Switch Online Donkey Kong titles as well as Donkey Kong Bananza. While a big portion of the challenges are easy and self-explanatory, several of the Donkey Kong Bananza challenges are actually very difficult so today we’re going through strategies to beat each one with a full guide.

Yoshi and the Mysterious Book 100% completion criteria
Posted on 2 months ago by Ethan in Guides, Switch 2 | 0 comments
I’ve recently 100% completed Yoshi and the Mysterious Book myself, and it took me 50 hours, which is a lot of time to spend on a Yoshi game. And as you might expect, full completion is a nightmare. The “reward” for 100% completion is about as disappointing as it gets, too, so definitely don’t go for full completion unless you’re crazy. But if you are, here’s the criteria for 100% completing the game. Spoilers inside, so beware!
Historically, Yoshi games have almost always been challenging to 100% complete. They’re very easy on their initial playthroughs, but anybody who sticks around to go for full completion always has some sort of herculean task on their hands – we saw this with Yoshi’s Crafted World in 2019, and now with Yoshi and the Mysterious Book in 2026.

Posted on 3 months ago by Ethan in Guides, Switch 2 | 0 comments
For those playing Yoshi and the Mysterious Book, we have a quick and straightforward guide on how to get a Flower Crown.
The Nintendo Switch 2 game is out now, and one of the earlier achievements that isn’t immediately clear is getting a flower crown from a Crazee Dayzee. If needed, you can spend tokens to get a more clear hint on how to get the flower crown achievement, but in case you’d rather not do that, we have the solution right here.
