indie.io and SoulBlade Studio are putting SoulQuest on Nintendo Switch, they’ve announced. The title is set to release on September 3, 2026.
SoulQuest is a side-scrolling spectacle fighter. Players will go on a journey to defy the gods to seize the power of Morrigan, Goddess of Death, and retrieve the soul of their beloved.

SoulQuest, which is being made by SoulBlade Studio and Tomas J Pereyra, will be released on Switch. Launch timing has yet to be decided.
SoulQuest is a hack-and-slash platformer with combat inspired by well-known franchises like Devil May Cry and Bayonetta. Those are a couple of hardcore series, but this project features a vibrant pixel art style and a Celtic mythology-based world.
