Original: Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds just announced its latest wave of DLC characters, led by Classic Sonic, Axel, and Amigo. Additionally, the SEGA Music Collection has been announced.
Classic Sonic is available today. Axel, from Crazy Taxi, arrives in August. Amigo from Samba de Amigo follows in September. All of these characters are free on Nintendo Switch 2 and Switch.
Capcom has just revealed its lineup for this year’s TGS, which will be running between September 17-21 in Chiba, Japan. The company will also be having a Capcom Spotlight presentation on September 16 at 7AM PT, or 10AM EST.
The company’s lineup is almost completely comprised of games coming to, or already on Nintendo Switch 2 such as Dragon’s Dogma 2: Dark Arisen, Onimusha: Way of the Sword, Pragmata, and Street Fighter 6. The only game coming to the original Nintendo Switch here is Mega Man: Dual Override, which will also be coming to Nintendo Switch 2.

City Connection has just shown off what it will be bringing to TGS 2026. The event will run from September 17 to 21.
For their Nintendo Switch offerings, we have Jalecolle Famicom Ver. Shatterhand, and Muchi Muchi Pork! & PinkSweets Boosted. As for Nintendo Switch 2 titles we have Ninja Baseball League-Man: Bases Loaded, and Ninja JajaMaru Yoke Night Paradise. This actually makes up the entire lineup.

Atlus has just put out a trailer for Metaphor: ReFantazio on Nintendo Switch 2, giving us another peek at how the game looks on the platform. The title is set to release for Nintendo Switch 2 on November 12, 2026, with pre-orders now open.

Nintendo Switch Online is ringing in September with the latest classic icons, this time for Pilotwings and Pilotwings 64.
These designs will be available throughout the month. There are seven icons available for the original Pilotwings and five for Pilotwings 64. Everything here costs 10 Platinum Points each on My Nintendo.
Nintendo just released a surprise version 1.2.0 update for Pikmin 3 Deluxe.
The patch is aimed entirely at Nintendo Switch 2 players. Starting today, after installing the patch, players can experience a sharper image with higher resolution. This applies to both docked and handheld modes. Additionally, GameShare support is included.

Nintendo just came out with the latest update for Mario Tennis Fever, with version 1.1.1 now starting distribution for all players.
This is a small patch all things considered. It includes one adjustment involving the return of a high ball and a bug fix with the Amp Racket.

A new Konami Press Start showcase will be held on September 3, 2026, it’s been announced. The presentation airs at 8 AM PT / 11 AM ET / 4 PM in the UK / 5 PM in Europe.
Konami says fans can look forward to the “latest news and updates”. In terms of Nintendo-related games, we know that Castlevania: Belmont’s Curse and eFootball Kick-Off will be display. Other confirmed titles include Silent Hill Townfall, Rev. Noir, and Project Zircon.
indie.io and SoulBlade Studio are putting SoulQuest on Nintendo Switch, they’ve announced. The title is set to release on September 3, 2026.
SoulQuest is a side-scrolling spectacle fighter. Players will go on a journey to defy the gods to seize the power of Morrigan, Goddess of Death, and retrieve the soul of their beloved.

LEGO Harry Potter Collection will be appearing on Nintendo Switch 2, according to a retailer listing.
A new page just went up today for the package over at VGP. This has not yet been officially announced by Warner Bros, but should be soon – especially if the October 16 release date is accurate.
