Interviews

Denshattack has been a fan favorite since its reveal last summer, and the game is now only a few days away. With the launch coming up, there’s no better time than now to speak with David Jaumandreu, studio and game director at Undercoders.

We touched on a variety of topics during our discussion, including influences (both feedback from fans and games that inspired the art style), supporting Nintendo Switch 2 with its own version, and the drive to continue pursuing the project despite multiple rejections from publishers.

Here’s our full interview:

Another Tomb Raider game has been added to the Nintendo Switch 2 lineup. During the most recent Nintendo Direct, Rise of the Tomb Raider was announced and released.

Following up on Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition, this is the second entry in the Tomb Raider reboot trilogy. It’s the first time that Nintendo players can try out the action adventure game.

To learn more about the port, we caught up with product manager Anna Grant and senior game producer Kay Gilmore. We touched on a number of important topics, such as the actual porting process, the reason for not releasing on the original Nintendo Switch, and the possibility of supporting gyro controls for aiming in the future.

If you somehow missed the news, Rayman is back – at least with a remake. Ubisoft has returned with a brand new take on the series’ most recent mainline release, Rayman Legends.

It’s actually been thirteen years since we originally saw Rayman Legends. Ubisoft has now returned to this one with a full graphical overhaul that’s now in 3D / 2.5D. Things don’t stop there though as the team is adding a bunch of new content to the original experience.

To learn more about what fans can expect, we recently caught up with Ubisoft Milan production director Alessandro Arndt Mucchi and realization / animation director Marco Renso. The two talked about why Rayman Legends is back, how it came to be, the engine, new content, Kung Foot and more.

March was a pretty big month for new Nintendo Switch 2 releases, and that included a port of Kena: Bridge of Spirits. This was the first time that the action adventure game was made available on a Nintendo system.

We were recently given the opportunity to speak with Josh Grier, chief operating officer at Ember Lab, to learn more about what it was like bringing the title over to Nintendo Switch 2. Grier touched on the technical process as well as other topics like the game’s frame rate, the possibility of a physical release, and more.

The next big Nintendo Switch 2 port is about to arrive with Indiana Jones and the Great Circle. With the release fast approaching, we caught up with creative director Axel Torvenius at MachineGames to talk about the game in a bit more depth.

The Nintendo Switch 2 version, as you would expect, was a big talking point with our conversation covering tech specs and fitting the game onto a cartridge. We also spoke about how the game originally came about and the decision to go with a first-person perspective.

Believe it not, The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild is almost ten years old. It was a massive game for many reasons – it launched alongside Nintendo Switch, was a new take for the series by going fully open-world, and introduced various aspects like voice acting in a mainline game for the characters.

Patricia Summersett has been the voice of Princess Zelda since 2017. After working on Breath of the Wild, she returned for Tears of the Kingdom as well as the Hyrule Warriors titles Age of Calamity and last year’s Age of Imprisonment.

Nearly a decade after it originally released, The Disney Afternoon Collection will finally hit Nintendo platforms next week with its launch on Switch 2 and Switch. Fans had originally been clamoring to see the package back in 2017, and Digital Eclipse was finally able to make it happen.

We recently had a chance to speak with Chris Kohler, editorial director at Digital Eclipse, to learn more about The Disney Afternoon Collection on Nintendo Switch 2 and Switch. Not only will Nintendo players be getting the entire release, but two new games have been added as well – making this the definitive version.

After it originally released on PlayStation, Dragon Quest 7 came to Nintendo 3DS about a decade ago with a remake. Square Enix has now decided to revisit it once more with a second remake, Dragon Quest 7 Reimagined for Nintendo Switch 2 and Switch, which features its own visual style and makes various gameplay adjustments.

Alongside the launch of Dragon Quest 7 Reimagined, we caught up with producer Takeshi Ichikawa to learn a bit more about the project. Aside from talking about the game itself, Ichikawa spoke about why it’s the right time to bring back the RPG again.

There’s been a lot going on within the world of Tomb Raider recently, including the arrival of Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition on Nintendo Switch 2 and Switch. Ports for both systems were announced and released last month.

To learn more about what went into the launch of Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition, we spoke with producer manager Jordon Reese from Aspyr. Reese also touched on some other points from us, including the possibility of bringing Rise of the Tomb Raider and Shadow of the Tomb Raider, future Nintendo Switch 2 support, and more.

Naoki Hamaguchi, co-director of Final Fantasy 7 Remake and longtime member of Square Enix’s creative team, has been shaping the future of one of gaming’s most beloved stories. With Remake now arriving on Nintendo Switch 2 to kick off 2026, in an interview with Nintendo Everything, he recently reflected on the challenges and triumphs of bringing Cloud’s journey to a new audience, and what it means to see the series find a home on Nintendo hardware for the first time in over two decades.
